Coding With Critters
Funded Sep 3, 2021Thank you for your donations and making this possible. My kindergartens are loving these coding critters. They were so excited when I showed them the coding critters and they have been a hit. They are the perfect introduction to coding for my little ones. My littles are having a blast and the best part for me is the low level of frustration for them. I have one group who have connected all the pieces and created a little town for the critters and have them visit each other.
Once again thank you for making this possible and for your continued support of my kiddos.”

Funded Aug 31, 2021Thank you all so much for making this possible. This has to be one of the best things I have added to our technology lab. So much of what we do in the technology lab can not be brought home but now with the Sprocket printer all that has change. The kiddos just snap a picture of what they have worked on I print it out and they can take the photo home . The kiddos are so excited when they print out the picture of their project that they can share with their families. I also add some of the pictures to our what we have been doing board. They love to see their photo along with their friends photos.
Thank you for showing my kiddos there is still kindness in the world.”

Funded Aug 13, 2021Thank you all so much for your support of this project. So many kiddos have benefited from this project. We are at the point in the school year when students supplies start to run out and when they do the kiddos can come grab what they need. The kiddos are so happy and grateful that they can come and shop for what they need. Many of the kiddos have expressed to me that if it wasn't for these supplies they wouldn't be able to complete their work. Teachers have also expressed to me how the kiddos come back form shopping all smiles that they have new supplies.
Thank you for showing my kiddos that there is still kindness in the world.”

Funded Sep 23, 2021Thank you all so much for making this possible. My kiddos were beyond excited as I opened the box and pulled out each book. As I pulled the books out of the box they kept asking,"What are we going to do with these?" All I told them was just wait you will see.
We started with Balloons over Broadway and they were so excited and had so much fun. All the kiddos are so proud of their creations. It was so nice to see all the kiddos being successful and sharing with their classmates.
As always thank you for showing my kiddos that there is still kindness in the world.”

Funded Feb 19, 2021Thank you so much to all that donated and made this project possible. The 2nd screen has been a game changer. With the addition of the 2nd screen I was able to see all of my kiddos and present material to them. This not only made remote teaching easier for me but it also made it easier for the kiddos. I was able to see them which meant if someone had their hand up I could help them right away. It also gave us back the feeling of being in the classroom together since I was able to see them while presenting materials. The 2nd screen really helped with keeping everyone engaged.
While this past school year had it's difficulties and challenges the 2nd screen really helped make it easier.
Thank you once again for helping me help my kiddos and for your continued support of me and my kiddos.”

Staying Hydrated
Funded Dec 16, 2020Thank you all so very much for making this project come to life for my kiddos. I did not tell the kiddos about the water bottles until the box arrived I wanted to surprise them. Well surprise them I did, we opened the box together and when we pulled out the water bottles they were all beyond excited.
Over the past few months some of the kiddos have decorate their water bottle with stickers and drawings, it is really great to see how creative they are. I am also very happy to say no one has lost a water bottle. I have had several kiddos come over to me and thank me, saying that they always wanted a water bottle but they couldn't afford it. Even that kiddo who is always losing or forgetting something has never forgotten their water bottle. It has been hot here the last week and those water bottles really came in handy. Many of the teachers I have spoken with also told me they are loving the water bottles since it cuts down on the children leaving the room to get water.
Once again thank you so much for making this project possible. Who would ever thought a simple water bottle could bring such joy and happiness to a kiddo.
Thank you all for continuing to support my kiddos and showing them that there is still kindness in the world.”

Hands on Stem
Funded Nov 16, 2020Thank you all so much for making this possible. My kiddos were beyond excited as we opened the boxes and saw all the goodies. As we pulled the cups, plates, pipe cleaners, pom pom's out of the boxes they kept asking,"What are we going to do with these?" All I told them was just wait you will see.
We have been having so much fun creating and exploring over the past few months. We recently celebrated the 100th day of school, the kiddos used the cups to build 100 cup towers. During read across America week the kiddos used the cups and index cards to see who could build the tallest Dr.Seuss hat. Over the next few weeks the kiddos will be using the plates and straws to create mazes and they are so excited.
Once again thank you all so much for making this possible.”

Funded Mar 17, 2019Thank you to all that donated to this project my kiddos and I are very grateful.
My kiddos were all very excited when they opened the box and realized they were each getting their own flash drive. Now that they each have their own flash drive it is easier for them to start a project in the technology lab one day and continue working on it at home, or in another class.
Since they each have their own flash drive we are using them as portfolios that we use during parent teacher conferences. Before the flash drives it was difficult to explain and show the parents that their kiddos aren't just playing during technology class. Many of the parents loved being able to see what their children had been working on and learning while in technology.
Thank you all once again for supporting my kiddos. Your continued support and generosity is greatly appreciated.”

Funded Sep 12, 2018A huge thank you to Advancement Courses and Verizon for making this project possible. All of my kiddos are benefiting and loving the new Amazon fire tablets.
I have a group of kiddos who have really benefited from having the tablets available to them. I have certain kiddos who just can't handle all the hustle and bustle that goes on in my technology lab. But now they take the tablets and some headphones and find themselves a nice quiet spot and can enjoy the same activity as their friends. My bigger kiddos are also enjoying the tablets they have been using and exploring QR codes, completing research for class projects. Next up photos and videos . Everyone is using and enjoying the tablets.
Thanks so much for showing my kiddos that there is still kindness in the world.”
