  • Coding is Cool !!!

    Funded May 7, 2024

Thank you to all who supported this project and helped bring it to life. I would also like to thank General Motors for matching donations to this project. My kiddos were so happy to find out that we would be adding to our Botley family. The looks on their faces was priceless when we pulled out the activity set and they saw all of the different pieces they can use to create an obstacle course. My kiddos have spent the last few weeks not only improving their coding skills but exploring their creative side by creating obstacle courses. I am very thankful and appreciate all those who help and support my kiddos.

Thank you again for showing my kiddos that there is still kindness in the world.”

  • So Make the Friendship Bracelets

    Funded May 29, 2024

Thank you all so much for your generous donations that made So Make the Friendship Bracelets come to life. The kiddos were so excited as we unpacked the box and they saw all the different beads and bead kits. They had so much fun creating and making bracelets. I had a group of girls who were making bracelets and just giving them out to other students when they were finished. I also had a 3rd grader who made bracelets for her mother and grandmother who had birthdays coming up, she asked me if I had tissue paper and when I asked why she said she wanted to wrap it. As we ended the school year I had several students ask if we could do this again next year. When some of my former students found out about the bracelets they asked if they could come make bracelets during their lunch.

Thank you again for your support and showing my students there is kindness in the world.”

  • It's All Fun & Games

    Funded May 9, 2024

Thank you all so much for making this project possible. It's All Fun & Games is about so much more than just playing games. With this project I was able to share with my kiddos games that I would play as a young child. I have a very shy girl in kindergarten who rarely speaks to me. She saw my unpacking the box when they arrived and came and sat by me as I unpacked them. After awhile she asked what they were so I showed her and told her how I used to play games. She said she never played a game before, I asked her if she wanted me to show her how to play and she nodded her head. So we sat together and played Monopoly JR. When class was over and we were cleaning up she asked if next time we could ask her friend to play. Even my older kiddos are enjoying the games, it is so nice just to see them sitting together playing a game and chatting.

Once again thank you so much for helping me help my kiddos.”

  • Hip Hip Hooray It's the 100th Day !!!

    Funded Jan 29, 2024

Once again thank you so much for your support of this project. The faces on the kiddos when they walked in and saw all the decorations celebrating the 100th day, were priceless. They loved getting the bracelets, stickers and medals. They were all walking around with huge smiles and showing off what they got. I saw one girl in the afternoon and she had a bunch of the bracelets on. When I asked where she got all of them, she told me a bunch of the kids were trading bracelets for medals. They had so much fun on what would of been just another school day now they have a special memory that will stay with them.

Thank you for making this possible and giving me the ability to bring smiles to our kiddos.”

  • STEM Supply Re-stock

    Funded Jan 11, 2024

Thank you all so much for making this possible. My kiddos were beyond excited as we opened the boxes and saw all the goodies. As we pulled the plates, pipe cleaners and other supplies out of the boxes they kept asking,"What are we going to do with these?" All I told them was just wait you will see.

We have been having so much fun creating and exploring over the past few months. We recently celebrated the 100th day of school, some of the kiddos used the supplies to create a shirt with 100 items on it while others used the items to create a 100 day collection baggie.

Once again thank you all so much for making this possible.”

  • The Snack Cupboard is Empty

    Funded Jan 16, 2024

Thank you all so much for making this project possible. The kiddos were beyond happy and grateful when we opened the box and they saw all the snacks. They are so happy and excited knowing that the snacks have been restocked. These snacks have really helped all of the students in the school. All the kiddos know they can come and grab a quick snack when they need it. I know a snack seems like a small thing but it does so much more for these kiddos, then just fill their stomachs I had one kiddo who was so excited because now they would have a snack at lunch just like all their friends. I still have my one buddy who stops by everyday and as he grabs his snack he fills me in on what's s going on with him.

Once again thank you so much for helping me help my kiddos.”

  • Annual Build A Gingerbread House STEM Project

    Funded Oct 17, 2023

Once again thank you so much for your support of this project. This project means alot to our school, every year the whole school participates in a Gingerbread decorating activity. Everyone in the school looks forward to it, especially the kids, yes even our middle schoolers. The students start asking about Gingerbread right after Halloween. They had so much fun and it is great to see them excited, having fun and being creative. I had a middle schooler tell me. "My house fell apart but that's ok because I had fun making it, and I know what to do next year so it doesn't break."

Thank you for making this possible and giving me the ability to bring smiles to our kiddos.”
