Classroom Essentials
Funded Jan 12, 2025Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all of the classroom essentials we were able to purchase for our classroom! From the glue sticks to the bandaids, everything has been so helpful.
The tabletop organizers are so helpful when we need to find out pens and pencils. The sorting trays help us during our writing period and the magnetic shelves help to display our read aloud books at the front of the classroom.
We appreciate your donation and kind words! We can't wait to make another wishlist!”

Chrome Book Craze!
Funded Sep 1, 2016Thank you so much for your generous donations. My class was super excited to have new laptops for our classroom. They love being able to research, play math games and listen to read-aloud on the chrome books.
My students are using our new chrome books on a daily basis. Each day, multiple times a day, students are in rotation to have a chance on the laptops.
My English Language Learners are so happy to use the laptops to help them learn English. Before we receive our chrome books, we only had 3 computers in the classroom. Now with our new chrome books is allows my students to rotate turns at least twice a week.”

Hop On the Magic Carpet!
Funded Sep 1, 2016Thank you so much for your generous donations. My class was super excited to have new carpet for our classroom. They love being able to each have their own spot at the rug during read aloud time and our math lessons.
My students are using our new carpet on a daily basis. Each day, multiple times a day, they are gathering at the carpet.
My students are so happy to have their own personal space at the carpet. Before we receive our carpet, students were squished and others had to sit in chairs during read aloud. This new carpet allows 31 students to sit comfortably and feel a part of the class. They are all eager for our daily read aloud and can't wait for math instruction, which is always a goal with fourth graders!”

Organization Station
Funded Sep 1, 2016Thank you so much for your generous donations. My class was super excited to have a new organization station to help keep their things tidy and neat. They love being able to be independent when packing up and getting their important notices. It truly shows how independent they can be.
My students are using their new organization station on a weekly basis. Each day they are using the organization station to help them gather everything they need; important papers, homework assignments, independent reading books and notebooks .
My students are allowed to freely go to the organization station throughout the day. This allows them to be organized and independent. Having this station has really helped my teaching and the students learning. They have become more independent and organized, which is always a goal with fourth graders!”

Funded Dec 28, 2015Thank you so much for your generous donations. My students are so eager to read every day and can't wait for their turn at the listening center. It has become a center we can all enjoy.
My students are using their new listening center on a daily basis. Each day several students use the headphones to listen to books on CD in our updated listening center. Students work together in Book Clubs, reading the same book and meeting on a weekly basis to discuss their ideas, likes and dislikes about the book they are reading.
Having this center has greatly impacted my students who are learning English for the very first time. I have several English Language Learners in my classroom from countries all over the world. These students are able to participate in their own book club, having the opportunity to read and listen to books with audio. This helps them tremendously with accuracy and fluency. We are forever grateful for your generous donations.”

Funded Dec 17, 2014Thank you so much for your generous donations. When I initially told my students about the projects I posted they were so excited and couldn't wait to receive the materials. When I announced that I our project was funded, they shouted with joy!!! They are so very thankful for your donations. They love how colorful and organized our writing center is. One student said, "I like how easy it is to pick the kind of paper I need when I am writing".
My students are using their new writing center on a daily basis. Each day they are using the bins to organize their work when handed in to be graded. They use the cups to hold pens, pencils and rulers at each table.
My students are allowed to freely go to the writing center to grab what is needed. This allows them to freely choose their paper type, pick the writing tools they need and hand in unfinished and finished work in the correct place. Having this writing center has really helped my teaching and the students learning. They have become more independent and organized, which is always a goal with fourth graders!”
