The following project in language acquisition is intended to develop my students' skills in Spanish. My students are part of the dual-language program at LMS. They have different backgrounds, but they all have one thing in common, they are passionate about being bilingual. This year my objective is to increase the classroom community by offering a variety of activities that allows them to interact and create relationships with each other. Since the students have different language levels, it is crucial to provide a wide range of learning styles to chose from. These activities will increase participation and opportunities to practice their language skills. The microphone for the projects will be used for recording a student podcast and also for video sound system. The board games are intended to be used for review since they will be modify to apply to content. Additionally, the bands are part of a flexible seating for all opportunity. Lastly, props are intended to be used in class simulation and role playing. This is one of their favorite activities, and usually I don’t have enough prompts for all of them.
