As a 1st grade teacher at a school that has more than an 75% poverty rate, our school is demographically the neediest in our district. With that said, the energy at this school is so invigorating and contagious. Even though these kids do no get access to the resources that most schools do, the motivation and determination to learn is extremely evident. These young, amazing kids not only deserve the opportunity for a quality education, but it is their right.

About my class
