Superstar Writers In The Making !!!
Funded Feb 9, 2022Thank you so much for helping my class with the enjoyment of writing. When we received the materials, my students were in awe. They really love the skin tone crayons because they were able to draw and color themselves with their skin colors.
The dots were another hit. Crayons are the tools that they usually color with. With the dots, they are able to create their pictures using a lot more of their imagination.
I feel like writing should be fun. With all these new tools, my students are not only having fun while writing, but they are also using their imagination and being creative. They are creating pictures with a lot of details and are able to write about them.”

Funded Feb 19, 2021Let me start by saying Thank You so much for helping my class. The students were very excited to receive the Microsoft Surface.
The Microsoft Surface helped me as a teacher to provide the parents "Parent Conference zoom meetings" in the comfort of their homes. Because of the pandemic, I was not able to meet with them face to face. With the Microsoft surface, I was able to communicate with them frequently without losing internet signal.
The Microsoft surface helped my class with the iReady program. The students who didn't have a laptop were able to use it to complete their iReady lessons every week. It was an extra technology added to the class and they were very excited to use it. They learned how to take good care of it. They were excited about touching the screen instead of using a keyboard.
All my students expressed interest in the Microsoft Surface. Since it was a new form of technology added to the class, they all wanted to use. They even created a schedule in order for everyone in the class to get a turn to use it.
We also used it when we had our zoom sessions with Arts for Learning program because it was easier to hear the instructor and the instructor was able to see the students and hear them. Once again thank you.”

Funded Nov 9, 2018Thank You so much for donating the camera to my classroom. My students are very exciting. They are able to see themselves in the pictures and tell stories orally about them.
With this camera, I am able to take pictures of the different activities that we are doing in the classroom, post them on our class website to share with my parents.
The camera has been very exciting to my curious little minds. The majority of them have never seen, touch or taken pictures with the camera. My students are able to take some pictures. They will be creating stories using the pictures that they have taken.”
