A Comfy Reading Area for Middle School Students
Funded Dec 19, 2022Thank you so much for your donations to my classroom. Your donations have allowed me to finally complete the "comfy space" for my students to learn happily.
My students immediately noticed when we had our brand new carpet, they didn't want me or anyone else to step on it because it was so nice and brand new!
My students are currently writing books about a topic of their choice. They are teaching themselves and each other so much as they complete their research and they are so proud of themselves. With the comfy space, they have a relaxing place to complete their work. Thank you so much!”

10 Year Olds Need to Read Harry Potter!
Funded Jan 15, 2018My class and I thanks you all so much for donating to our classroom this year. Our resources are being used daily and it is my personal goal to get each student to at least try reading the first Harry Potter book as a fantasy immersion project.
My students were so excited when they saw all of the materials. They couldn't wait to help me set things up and organize my paperwork in the new bins and use our books. All of them argued over who would read the Harry Potter books first! Right now, we are in our fantasy unit and it's an amazing opportunity to be able to use Harry Potter as an example of great fantasy writing to read and to use as a mentor text when writing our own novels.
We are so excited and blessed to have your support. These are students that love shiny, new things and love to use all types of materials on our projects. I'm so excited to share with them each time we have the opportunity to get a donation.”

Ms. Guadalupe
NEW South Bronx Classroom Needs Supplies to Succeed
Funded Aug 23, 2017I cannot express to you just how grateful I am for your absolute generosity and outpouring of love and support. My students and I use the materials each and every day of the school week! They especially love markers. Together, we create all types of projects and illustrations to really complement our work.
Recently, they did a project where they had to illustrate the setting of a scary story we were listening to. This way, they were able to understand why the details in a setting are SO very important. They loves this activity and we wouldn't have been able to do it without basic necessities such as paper, pencils, pens, and markers.
When my students learned about the materials, they were extremely emotional. They did not realize that most of the things in our classroom were DONATED! They were so excited to write letters and thank you all for your wonderful help. They absolutely love the binders you donated especially for them, and they loved choosing colors for their social studies binders!
Next, we're working on publishing personal narratives that we've been working so very hard on. They can't wait to share the work they've been doing and to show you how truly thankful they are!”
With gratitude,
Ms. Guadalupe
