• Loving to Learn Wherever We Are

  Thank you, thank you, thank you! Gosh- it has been a whirlwind of a school year and I honestly could not be doing this new kind of learning and teaching without your help. Things look different this year (and the end of last!) but I don't ever want that to impact my students' learning and access to resources! Thanks to your help, I have been able to continue to give my students hands-on learning opportunities. We have played games, read books and painted beautiful self-portraits using the tools that you provided to my amazing kids. • Brrrrrr! It's Cold Outside!

  Thank you, thank you, thank you, for helping to provide warm hats, gloves and mittens to my students during this long Michigan winter. For many of my students, these hats, gloves and mittens were the first that my students had ever owned, and they certainly were the first new hats, gloves and mittens for many of my children. My students have loved picking out their own hats and other warm gear this year, and they have taken such good care of their new items! You have never seen a more responsible set of kiddos, keeping track of every last mitten and hat!

• Sometimes It's the Smallest Things That Really Count

  Thank you, thank you, thank you! It really is the little things that make the biggest impact! The supplies you provided have made our day to day learning life run smoothly. We use the markers to practice our skills on our white boards daily. We have painted and painted and painted on the paper you provided, and become quite the amazing little artists. Thanks to you, we have practiced our friendship skills including turn taking and sharing through the board games you provided for recess time. They may seem little, but the items you provided are the day to day, important items that form our learning experiences. Thank you for believing in the little things! They really do count!”

• Making New Friends at School

  Gosh you all are amzing. Your help has created such amazing opportunities for some amazing kids. Your support has made friendship a reality for the students at my school. The Squiggs and Playdough you provided has offered hours of fun for students with disabilities and without. The students participate together- playing and enjoying the time, getting to know one another, and making friendships. The juice and snacks are an added bonus, giving our students of all different abilities a fun snack to enjoy together. • First We Breathe, Then We Can Learn!

  Thank you so much for creating an amazing calm down space, full of comfortable rugs and mats for some of my littlest students to use in their classroom. Especially for little ones, and especially when little ones have disabilities that make it difficult for them to communicate their wants and needs, school can be a stressful place. The tools that you provided have created a space and given them tools to help them calm down. My students love to lay on the rug or the mats or sit in the tent when they become upset. They have learned to take deep breaths and use tools to calm themselves down so that they can go back to learning. Thank you so much for believing in my amazing little learners and giving them the tools to become successful learners!”

• A Pancake Palooza for Amazing Kids!

• Exceptional Kids Need Exceptional Tools

  Funded May 28, 2019

  Thank you, thank you, thank you! These tools for my exceptional learners, have made all the difference in the world. The headphones are amazing for my students with autism. For many of them, noises that aren't that loud to most, are loud and screechy and just overall uncomfortable. Now that we have access to noise canceling headphones, my students are so much more comfortable, especially in noisy places like the lunchroom, and gym class. The fidgets are also favorites and are great for helping my students with ADHD focus in class. I have a number of students in particular who have really benefited from the chance to use a fidget tool while working, to help keep them on task.

  These new tools have been life changing for many of my students. Thanks for believing that all kids are amazing and deserve the very best tools for their learning!”
