• Help Us Learn to Read at Home!

  Thank you, thank you, thank you! Your support, during this time of learning while at home- means the absolute world. We could not keep learning without your support. Technology has kept us connected and learning, but there is something about having a real, actual book in your hands when you are a new reader. Thanks to your help, I was able to make book deliveries to each of my children, and they have been enjoying their books ever since. There is nothing quite like seeing the joy of reading in the faces of new readers! Thanks to your support, there are lots of smiling readers in our class!”

• Reading, Writing, Math and Fun!

  Thank you, thank you thank you! Honestly, I really am not sure how we would be continuing to learn and grow this year, without your support. This school year certainly has been one for the record books! These supplies that, because of you, I was able to deliver to each of my students, really have made a world of difference. We are currently still virtually learning and we are learning a lot! However, my students with special needs, also need to be able to practice their skills in a non-virtual way. They need to hold pencils, write on paper, use flashcards, and create art. Thanks to you- my students have been able to do this, even though we are learning through computers. Thank you for continuing to support my amazing students- even though learning looks a bit different this year!”

• Back to Basics for Special Learners

  Thank you, thank you, thank you! There aren't enough thank you's in the world to express how grateful I am for your support. Your help means the world and allows my amazing kids to have the tools and materials they need in order to grow and learn to the best of their abilities.

  Your support for these basic supplies like dry erase markers, water color paper, lamination and Velcro has allowed my students to have their learning tailored to their specific needs. All of my students learn differently than most other children and yet, your support, has meant that just because they learn differently, it doesn't mean that they can't or won't learn. Despite all of the challenges in learning over the last ten months, the growth I have seen in my students has been amazing, and I absolutely attribute much of that growth to your support! Thank you for providing these basic, yet very important tools so that my students can continue to succeed and grow!”

• Ensure Learning for Kids With Autism

  Thank you, thank you, thank you! Thank you for knowing that kids need full bellies before they can fill their brains with new learning. Your support means the world to some very special kids. Thanks to you, my students with autism and special dietary needs, have been able to keep their bellies full during the school day. We have noticed that with this added "snack" my students are able to focus more and participate more in class.

  Sometimes it isn't the technology or the classroom supplies, sometimes it is the right food to fill bellies, that really makes the most difference. Thank you so much for supporting my amazing students.”

• Tech for Terrific Kids!

  This has been a school year for the record books! My students are currently all learning virtually from home, due to the Covid-19 pandemic. We have all worked hard to make it work for our students, but the one non-negotiable to make this work, is access to technology at home so that our students can stay connected to their teachers and their classmates. For many of my students with special needs, tablets are the most accessible technology.

  Thanks to you, I was able to make sure that all of my students have been able to have access to the technology tools they need to participate in live class sessions, complete work, participate in friendship opportunities with their peers and continue to learn and grow! • Technology for ALL Kids

  Thank you, thank you, thank you! My students have been learning from a distance (from home) due to the Covid-19 crisis. Many of my students don't have their own technology at home which makes distance learning difficult. An added difficulty is that for my younger students with Autism, they really need tablets to learn with instead of a computer with keyboard. Thanks to you- two of my students who were in true need, got the technology they needed and are learning with their classmates! Thank you for making sure that no kids get left out or left behind because of a lack of appropriate materials. Thank you for your help- it really does mean the world!”

• 1, 2, 3 Play!

  Thank you, thank you, thank you! The games have arrived and have been delivered to the homes of some of the most amazing kids in the world! We work so hard on taking turns, playing with each other, working as a team and winning and losing with respect, when we are at school. I wanted to make sure that we were still practicing those skills, even as we are currently distance learning due to Covid-19. Thanks to your support and kindness, my students each received their very own cooperative board game to play with their families. They are practicing all of those really important social skills, with a fun new game, from their homes.

  My students even have found creative ways to play their new games with their friends, virtually! Two of my students, best friends, who haven't been together in-person in a long while, each received the same game. They have been meeting together through a video virtual platform, each with their board game, and play together, each on their own board, but with each other via a screen. Thanks to you- their friendship is a strong as ever!

  Covid-19 has brought so much change for all of us- thanks to you, some of the joys of childhood can stay the same. Thank you for helping my students stay connected and continue to grow, even while we are apart!”

• Still Learning, Even While Apart

  This year has been a different one, to say the least. Learning looks a lot different than it ever has before and we are facing challenges, that I don't think I ever would have predicted.

  For many of my students this distance learning- though necessary for health and safety- makes learning even more challenging than it already is. Their learning difficulties on-top of the lack of materials for learning at home- made it difficult to learn. Thanks to your help though, all of my amazing students now have the tools they need at home! All of my students received the tools they need because of your generosity. Thank you for believing in my students!”

  Thank you, thank you, thank you! Because of you, my students are falling in love with reading! Most of my students start the school year as reluctant readers- but thanks to you, I'm certain they won't remain reluctant readers for long!

  Kids who love to read are kids who read and so it is really important for schools to be full of books that will interest kids. I always try to keep my shelves full of books on topics that my students love- and thanks to you- our shelves are full of well loved books now. Thank you so much for believing that every child deserves books they love and making sure that my students have access to wonderful books. Thank you!!!”

• Velcro, Lamination and Learning for All Kids!

  Thank you, thank you, thank you! Your help has meant the world, and it is made even more special as we are in this distance learning season right now due to Covid-19. The supplies you provided, including the ink and the lamination, have been put to good use the moment they arrived. I created individualized activities, preserved with lamination, and dropped them off at my students' homes. Some of my students with autism received at-home behavior books that are full of pictures, each of them with Velcro to stick in the book. Other students received games and "sorts" to help them practice their skills at home. Thanks to you- my students haven't stopped learning, and in-fact- their learning hasn't even slowed down! My students continue to be amazing, because of amazing donors like you!
