• Black History Month: Jazz

  On behalf of my students, I would like to extend our deepest gratitude for your generous donation of the record player and vinyl records. Your contribution has made a lasting impact on our celebration of Black History Month and has allowed us to explore the rich history of jazz, blues, and iconic African American artists in a truly immersive way.

  With the Victrola Ellington Bluetooth Record Player and the incredible vinyl records of Frank Sinatra, Louis Armstrong & Duke Ellington, Ella Fitzgerald, and Miles Davis, we were able to bring the vibrant sounds of jazz legends directly into our classroom. These recordings not only introduced students to the profound contributions of these artists, but they also served as a backdrop for deeper discussions about the cultural significance of jazz, the Civil Rights Movement, and the enduring legacy of African American musicians in shaping American music and history.

  The Victrola record player became a center of attention, providing a tangible way for students to engage with music history. The warmth of vinyl and the rich sounds of the recordings allowed us to experience the music and Dr. King's iconic speeches in a way that modern formats just can't match. As students listened to these legendary performances, they were inspired.

  Your donation provided not just materials, but an experience—one that connected students with the past in a way that resonated emotionally and intellectually.   My students and I would like to extend our sincere gratitude for your generous donation of Sobreviví el bombardeo de Pearl Harbor, 1941 (Spanish Edition). Your support has had a meaningful impact on our classroom and has been instrumental in enhancing Spanish reading fluency, comprehension, and engagement.

  This gripping historical fiction book from the I Survived series has captivated my students with its vivid storytelling and age-appropriate suspense. It has served as an excellent tool to cultivate a love of reading in Spanish by combining historical learning with compelling narrative. Students were eager to dive into each chapter, asking thoughtful questions and making connections not only to the historical content, but also to themes of courage, survival, and resilience.

  The book helped us expand our classroom library with high-interest Spanish texts that meet students at their reading level while also challenging them to grow. Through group discussions, vocabulary exploration, and comprehension activities based on the text, students strengthened their language skills and gained confidence in their bilingual abilities.

• Colorful File Folders

  My students and I are sincerely grateful for your generous donation of organizational and writing supplies, which played a key role in the success of our Language Arts lapbook projects. Your support made it possible for students to engage in hands-on, creative, and personalized learning experience that deepened their understanding of reading and writing concepts.

  Students were able to design and build their own lapbooks, a form of interactive notebooks that helped them organize story elements, grammar concepts, vocabulary, and reflections in a visual and tangible way. The file folders added structure and vibrancy to each project. The triangular mechanical pencils were a favorite—easy to grip, fun to use, and especially helpful for developing handwriting and fine motor skills.

  This project not only reinforced core language arts skills but also gave students a sense of ownership over their learning. Each lapbook became a personalized tool for reviewing content, expressing creativity, and tracking progress throughout the unit.

• Spanish Chapter Books

  My students and I extend our heartfelt thanks for your generous donation of chapter books that have played a key role in enhancing our students' Spanish reading development. Your support has made a meaningful impact on both instruction and student engagement, and we are truly grateful.

  These resources have helped us create a more structured, engaging, and supportive environment for our Spanish literacy program. The novels "La tierra de las grullas" and "The House on Mango Street" have provided students with powerful stories that resonate culturally and emotionally, sparking meaningful discussions and building vocabulary and comprehension in both Spanish and English.

  The projector stand has improved the delivery of lessons by making it easier to integrate multimedia presentations and digital read-alouds. It has been especially helpful in supporting visual learners and making group reading sessions more interactive. The organizational bins have allowed us to keep literacy centers, books, and learning materials neatly arranged and accessible, promoting independence and minimizing distractions.

  Lastly, the academic planner has helped me maintain consistency in lesson planning and scheduling, ensuring we stay focused and aligned with our instructional goals.

• Amazing Works of Art

  My students and I are incredibly grateful for your generous donation of classroom and creative supplies, which played a vital role in the success of our recent Explorers Project. Your support provided the tools our students needed to research, create, and present their work in meaningful and memorable ways.

  The materials were used in various stages of the Explorers Project, where students researched historical explorers and created an explorer using a water bottle and custom laminated "Explorer Trading Cards" to showcase their findings. The lamination pouches helped preserve and elevate their trading cards into polished, keepsake-quality presentations.

  The voice amplifier enhanced classroom instruction, especially during student presentations, ensuring every voice was heard clearly and confidently. The glue, adhesives, and poster boards supported the hands-on creation of display boards that brought history to life.

  Thanks to your thoughtful donation, our students didn't just complete a project — they engaged in an interactive learning experience that encouraged creativity, critical thinking, and pride in their work. You helped us turn a classroom assignment into something unforgettable.”
