Bell Middle School is an urban middle school in south eastern San Diego. We are an equity focused school. More than 50% of students are Black, Latino, and/or Native American, and 78% come from low-income households. We have a richly diverse student population. Our diversity is inclusive of different ethnicities, religions, cultural backgrounds, social beliefs, and gender identities. Over 20% of our students are multilingual learners, another 20% require Special Education services and another 20% are homeless. We are underfunded, under-loved and need your support.
I currently teach 180 6th grade math students. My students love learning and engaging in the math work.
They are our future please help me in giving them the best equitable education they deserve!
