  • Knowledge Is Power

    Funded Sep 6, 2021

As a teacher I am a life long learner. I enjoy reading books, especially those about education and teaching strategies. I also love to read books on education policy and trending leagal issues.

I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for your more than generous contributions. These books not only made me a better educator for my students, but a better student in my own pursuit of education and professional growth.

The texts that I recived from this project have proved useful in the formative and summative assessments I design for my students. In addition, the information in the texts has also proved useful in parent and administrative meetings as it pertains to student needs, rights, and overall all academic progress.

    Thank you so much !”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Cooper

There are not enough words to express our gratitude. In a time of constant change and financial uncertainty you found it in your hearts to help others. An investment in our youth is an investment in our future.

Students were able to model molecules, investigate fossils, model the rock cycle, and complete various projects with the use of the materials purchased with your generous contributions. When students learned that we'd received so many donation and were able to purchase so many items they were excited and intrigued.

Students will be moving on to a new unit soon were they will using 3D anatomical models purchased to compare anatomy and study vestigial and analogous structures across various organisms. Again, thank you!! I don't know if any of these moments would've been possible without your help.”

The goal of this project is to aid students in developing in depth knowledge of environmental and molecular sciences. Through accomplishing this learning goal students will gain a solid knowledge and understanding of environmental processes and how they impact the environment and its inhabitants over time. Materials obtained through this project will be used to increase student understanding by increasing their interaction with kinesthetic learning opportunities. I am a firm believer that students learn by doing and seeing in real time, so having these aids is detrimental to development of in-depth thinking and understanding.
