I have the privilege of working in a very special place with amazing young men and women. Our small high school is specifically for English Learners. We are in our fourth year and will have our first graduating class this spring. The students come from 22 different countries and speak 13 different languages. Of our nearly 400 students, more than 95% qualify for free or reduced lunch. In my classroom, they are becoming more creative and engaging in the creative process. I teach one section of AP Studio Art for an extremely talented group of young people. I am always trying to build our art studio. Being a small high school, I wear many hats, so I also teach one section of Spanish as a New Language. I try to bring the creative process into my Spanish classroom, as well, through project based learning. That always requires extra supplies! We hope you can find it in your heart to support our class!
