I am requesting a classpack of crayons, two packs of scissors, forty reams of assorted colors of copier paper, thirty reams of various bright colors of paper, and five reams of white cover stock paper. The materials I am a requesting for "my kiddos", will literally make all the difference. Let's face it, kids notice everything, and they love things that are fun and bright and not boring and bland. Well, in my 6th Grade Science class, I do my best to try to keep things fun, invigorating, and interesting. We use a "interactive science journal", which contain a ton of foldables. The kiddos get super excited when I am able to add a splash of colored paper into the mix, in their interactive science journals, but colored paper is limited at my school. As well as, I am a new teacher with limited resources in a low income and poverty stricken area of Texas. Ultimately, these supplies would help brighten not only my classroom, but the overall progress of my students' future science learning. These materials would help make the foldables more inviting and zesty, with colored paper options. As well as, not all my students can afford the school supplies so having extra colors and scissors would be a huge asset to their learning.
