Thanks for visiting my page! I am a third grade reading teacher at Wasena Elementary School in Roanoke, Virginia. My students come from a variety of different backgrounds and home life situations. I love to be with this group because of their diversity. My students are always excited and willing to learn new things. This excitement is even greater when my students see a cart of boxes arrive into our classroom. They are the first ones that I tell that a wonderful donor has helped us order supplies. They are just as excited to hear the news as I am that we have been funded! I am so appreciative of Donors Choose and the support of amazing donors. Thank you so much for your support of my students.
