My goal this year to make each of my students crazy about reading. Adding a classroom rug to the library will give my students a comfortable place to sit while they read and motivate them to want that independent reading time. A classroom rug will also be a place where the fourth graders and I will meet and share stories every morning. This will help build a positive environment in the classroom. I would also like to implement a leveled library that will be sorted by genre so that the scholars in my room can pick out books that they're interested in and deepen their love for reading. Your donations to this project will increase students' academic achievement and help build a safe and positive classroom environment for the students in my 4th grade urban classroom.
