This year, my scholars will spend most of their time in academic play- rather than sitting on the carpet listening to me speak. This requires countless materials such as glue sticks, tactile numbers and a literacy-rich classroom that allows them to explore letters on their own. Three-year-olds learn most by doing- counting, molding, pretend-reading, and creating. With our sand and play foam we will make our hands strong enough to write our name. With our magnet and tactile letters we will see the alphabet come to life. With our numbers and counters we will learn to count to 10 and beyond. With our art supplies we will create masterpieces that will make our classroom beautiful. With our pencils and markers we will able to write our names! The donation of these items will allow my scholars to explore their creativity and learn by having fun!
