Our community of 20 third-grade learners are the kindest, hard-working students that I have the privilege to teach this year! We are learning how to multiply, read multisyllabic words, be a member of our local and larger communities, and develop a growth-mindset. Every day we talk about how to find dopamine and regulate our minds through breath work and choosing our thoughts through mindful practices. We forgive and glow-up in our development of ourselves as friends and individuals. We learn about science, ask questions, and problem solve. We also have fun and look for the joys and celebrations sprinkled through our hard-work. We are future leaders-as well as leaders in the here and now, and every day is an opportunity for us to share our shine in all we do!
