" Calming Area"
Funded Apr 3, 2023Thank you tremendously for donating the carpet, books, and the painting center. My students are incredibly appreciative of using these materials. You have given us a clean and comfortable space where my children can continue their education. With our new carpet, we have a clean, amazing, cozy area to help my students self-regulate when needed. Also, thank you very much for your generosity; now my students are free to explore art materials and create whatever they wish, they engage in process art and offer a special place to help them self-regulate. The art area your donation helps create is a space for children to visit daily in the classroom. There are no templates or step-by-step directions to follow in this area; my students are free to express their ideas through art. We will continue to use our carpet and art stations to help enhance our children's learning skills. Of course, having art supplies organized and easily accessible to children is also an essential part of their learning.
Thanks to your generosity,”

Funded Aug 25, 2016On behalf of my students, I would like to thank you again for your generous donation. The impact of your donation has been huge! You have given my students the freedom to reach explore their artistic desires and make each and every dream a reality. I have watched my children progress in their fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, their creativity, and their ability to share and communicate with their peers and classmates. The children have a creative area where they can interact with one another.
My students were overjoyed when the art area first entered the classroom. They immediately ran over to the large box and began to touch it and admire it. They could not wait to open the box and put their new area together. Once it was set up, they immediately got to work on using their new found area. My students love to cut, color, stamp, draw, paint, glue, and design in their new workspace. With this work space, my students have the ability to make their art come alive.
In our next study, we will be learning about trees. This will be very exciting for us because we will go into deep details about every aspect of trees. Where they are grown, how they grow, their significance, how to take care of our trees, and much much more. Now, in their area, they will be able to work as a group or in partners as they draw and document their own notes about trees.
Again, I would thank you for your generosity and the wonderful area you have given my class!”

A Space for Learning
Funded Oct 27, 2015Thank you tremendously for donating the carpet for my classroom. My children are greatly appreciative. You have given us a clean and comfortable space where my children can continue their education. With our new carpet, we have a clean space where we sing, learn, and play together. The day the carpet arrived, we were having a celebration and the arrival of the carpet created an amazing moment. The children were thrilled! We use our new carpet daily and it is an asset to our classroom. A few ways we utilize our carpet is during independent reading, learning circle, story-time, number counting , block building, adult to child interaction, self regulation and child to child interaction. We will continue to use our carpet to help enhance our children's learning skills. Thank you very much for your generosity.”

A Cozy Reading Corner
Funded Jan 27, 2012I would like to thank you for supporting and donating towards a brighter future for my students. The materials provided are very useful in my classroom to develop and shape my children's ability and love for reading. For example, the quiet area is helping my students to develop a love for reading, focus, rest, decompress, soothe and recover when necessary. It also provides children who struggle, with an opportunity to focus in a quiet place. Most importantly my students are able to acquire knowledge through reading. Thank you for helping my children and giving them an opportunity to acquire early reading skills. As a teacher and mother, I believe young children are the future of this country and they are the most important element in our society. Thank you for caring and for believing that Early Education is important for our children. ”

Funded Dec 19, 2011I would like to thank you for supporting and donating towards a brighter future for my children. The materials provided are helping my children develop skills. Thanks to your donation, the classroom has a beautiful aquarium with seven fish and growing. The types of fish we have are goldfish. For example, the children observe the fish in their environment while counting, naming, and identifying the various colors and sizes. For some students it was their first encounter with sea life and the aquarium was like a new beginning. Recently, we lost a fish and most of the children were sad but we took that opportunity to use math by subtracting.
We took a teachable moment and decided to subtract the fish that left us from the previous day to the recent. Also, someone is in charge of feeding the fish at a certain time and helps my students tell time. This allows the children to learn how to care for others and teaches them responsibility. In addition, the see it grow lab is helping the children understand how things grow. For example, the children use measurement to help them understand how big and how fast the plant grows.
These educational tools and materials will be enjoyed by many children for many years to come. My students are happy and excited and are enjoying the materials provided. Thank you for caring and for believing that Early Education is important to our children. These children are our future and it is a vital element in our society to educate them with proper materials.”
