  • Technology Fun!

    Funded Jul 29, 2020

Thank you so much for your contribution to our project. It was so helpful during the first few years of the pandemic and helped a difficult situation become much easier! These tools helped replicate that classroom experience. They applied to all learners and I was able to use these tools to provide my daily lessons in w group and small meetings, one on one tutoring, and for parent conferences. For example, these tools were used for students to watch me teach math or science while also participating during Zoom or Google Classroom. They were able to see me show them how to do a division problem so they themselves can learn. It was so helpful. Thank you!”

  • STEAM Scientists!

    Funded Oct 9, 2019

Thank you so much for all of our STEAM resources! My students were so excited to receive all of the materials and have been using them constantly. We have first of all enjoyed our new cushioned seats immensely. They are not only a great resource to house our science materials but a much better option to sit in than our old, uncomfortable chairs.

Student also love playing with the variety of materials that you so generously provided. From creating cars to using magnets, the hands on experiments that you gave provided not only enrich our curriculum but are activities the students love!

Thank you again so much for these!”

    Funded Dec 17, 2019

Thank you so much for your generous contribution to our classroom. Out of all the supplies teachers need, books are number one on our priority list. And to have multiple copies of books to engage students in book clubs and discussions is amazing! We so appreciate it and will be reading all these books as soon as they arrive! Thank you again!”

  • STEAM Mania!

    Funded Oct 17, 2018

Thank you so much for these amazing resources! My students were so excited to receive them...we are at a school that has very little in terms of constructive play so they were thrilled!

They were very happy to use them right away and they could spend over an hour at a time. One way they use the materials is that they receive an object to make. ..a castle, a bridge, a maze, many other ideas. They then work in cooperative groups to create their object. They obtain many skills through this and learn to work together.

Thank you again so much for your generous gift. We love them!”

  • Let's get Tekkie!

    Funded Mar 13, 2018

Thank you so much for your donation to our classroom. We have been able to implement our iPads and Kindles quickly into our classroom routines. We can access downloadable books to read, math games to play, and been able to do research for projects. Because we have enough for a small group, students are able to access research every day instead of having to wait to go to the computer lab. We are also able to use them to help us with our work. For example, when playing a math game we can use our tablets to help us check our work and make sure we are solving problems correctly. In the future, we look forward to using QR codes to help us research animal reports and to communicate with our parents. Thank you again for such a generous donation...we will be using these for years to come

    Thank you!”

  • The Future is STEAM!

    Funded Oct 9, 2017

Thank you so much for all of these wonderful STEAM activities! These are projects that normally my students would not usually be exposed to so their impact is meaningful. They are learning important scientific concepts while being completely engaged! For example, we are learning about rocks and plate tectonics and through the earthquake kit my students not only learn about how they form but engineering concepts to help create structures that can withstand earthquakes. And have a lot of fun doing it! We are excited to use more of our math centers and science kits in the upcoming year! Thank you again so much!”

I adore reading, and I love sharing my passion for literature with my students! My students do not have access to a lot of reading materials at home or many opportunities to buy reading materials. For this reason, I try to provide an enriching classroom library and listening center for them. I truly believe that the more children are encouraged and given opportunities to read, the better readers they will become.
