Expressing Our Creativity!
Funded May 25, 2020I would like to express my deep gratitude for your generous contributions. These donations made the day of many of my students. It gave them the necessary tools to make creative things and increase their moral while stuck at home during COVID-19. As I delivered the gifts the students were so happy and appreciative and could not wait to begin using the supplies. If you notice the huge smiles on their faces as the presented their robots, posters and farm projects. They are continuing to use the supplies to take part in activities in their classroom.
Thank you again for the generosity especially in these difficult times.”

Help Us Move and Become Fit!
Funded Jan 10, 2017I want to again share my sincerest gratitude for your generosity. These supplies have had a dramatic positive impact in my classroom and in the students' homes.
I am able to teach the yoga and everyone has a mat. The children enjoy this activity so much they have brought it to their homes. Parents are getting involved and doing yoga with their children in the mornings from home.
The younger students are learning motor skills through use of the hurdles. This is assisting them in many developmental levels.
Without your contributions my students would still be at a disadvantage. I am proud to say these materials have had a positive impact on my students lives in and out of school.
Thank you!!!!”

Ms. Dones
Channeling Anger
Funded Jun 8, 2012I want to give you my sincere gratitude for giving to my project. I have been a teacher for more than ten years and have had the opportunity to see what the lack of guidance does to our youth. Recently I was given the opportunity to take on the role of Dean in my school. While this role is usually seen as a punitive one I decided that was not the image I wanted to be seen as. I decided I wanted to take a positive approach and give the students the attention they needed.
At my school we deal with many behavioral issues and have started a program geared to teaching the expected positive behaviors. When designing my proposal I had in mind what the students were lacking and how I could use these books to impact the students in a positive manner.
Since receiving these books I have had the opportunity to work with groups of students dealing with issues ranging from sharing to bullying. I have also created a lending library where classroom teachers can use the books with their own classes. While I have not been able to reach everyone I can honestly say I have seen a difference.
Thank you for your generosity because without it my students would be lost!”
With gratitude,

Funded Nov 20, 2011I would like to thank you on behalf of my students and myself for such a generous gift!I have been a teacher for eleven years and have always been the recipient of hand me down books and supplies until now. The children did not have the motivation to read due to the lack of new and interesting books. Since receiving the level libraries the students have shown a new found interest for reading. They can easily identify books they can comfortably read and have a bigger selection to choose from. They can't seem to get enough of the books and this is great!
In a time where schools budgets are being cut drastically and the economy is not doing well I know I would never have had access to these materials. So again I want to thank you for your generosity.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Dones
We Would Like To Be Comfortable. Can You Please Help?
Funded Feb 20, 2011I would like to thank you for giving my students the opportunity to learn comfortably. Since my students are young we teach in a workshop model and students are constantly sitting on the floor. But now due to all your generous contributions they will now be able to sit comfortably and thus concentrate better on the lesson at hand.
I have been teaching for ten years and every year it gets harder to accommodate all the students needs. Without contributors like you I don't know what teachers would do.
Thank you again for your dedication to furthering education! ”
With gratitude,
Ms. Dones
