I'm a first year teacher and have about 90 students for whom I'm trying to create the warmest, most productive classroom possible. With your help, each student will have the opportunity to use supplies that will facilitate in-class and at-home projects, choose from a wide selection of books from our in-class library, and enter a room that is bright, organized, and welcoming. I only have 55 minutes per day with my kiddos, so from bell to bell, they'll be using our class resources to explore, discover, and learn. I appreciate any help you can give us as we start our year together! My students will use chart paper and markers for collaborative group work. When they enter the room, they will see a well decorated, warm and organized environment made up by decorative borders and bulletin board letters. A wide selections of books will be available for anchor activities and to promote leisurely, sustained reading! The pens, will be used for students to receive grades in a variety of colors so they are not faced with the typical intimidation of red ink. All of your support is greatly appreciated. I'm looking forward to a wonderful year with my students!
