My students are very diverse in their learning abilities. As a preschool teacher I have students who range in age from 3 to 5 and students who are in their second year of preschool or their first year of school as a 3 year old. This creates students at a variety of ability levels. Our school uses daily 5 centers for reading and so in our classroom we do several things by small group or centers. We even do indoor recess with centers. This project would fit in seamlessly because my students are already very independent learners. I know they will love having their own learning space that is just for them. I have seen how much pride they take when they learn new things and I can't wait to see the learning growth they gain from this project. My students also like to learn from each other and with this I could easily pair students up to share their learning.
