  • Mindfulness for Juniors and Seniors

    Funded Nov 2, 2024

We want to extend our heartfelt thanks for your generous donation of mindfulness coloring books, puzzles, checkers, and other games. Your thoughtful contribution provides our juniors and seniors with invaluable tools to manage stress and take meaningful breaks from their schoolwork.

With these resources, our students can step back from their busy schedules, find moments of calm, and return to their studies with a renewed sense of focus. Your kindness not only supports their academic journey but also contributes greatly to their mental well-being.

Thank you for helping us create a positive and balanced learning environment for our students. We are deeply grateful for your support.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Dent

  • Fresh Start to the New School Year

    Funded Jul 28, 2022

I wanted to thank you for your generous donation to my classroom. My students have loved using the supplies over the past couple months. It helps helped improve my teaching and their learning experiences. The students have used these supplies to help them be more successful in school.

The binders, pencils, colored pencils, folders, and pencil pouches were used to help get students organized at the beginning of the school year. They were given a folder for each of their classes to make sure they do not lose any important papers from their classes. The pencil pouch was filled with lots of school supplies that will help students be able to participate fully in each of their classes.

The students have enjoyed the interactive math games where they are able to practice their various math skills. The math games make it so the students are practicing math in a fun way that gets them to enjoy math more with their peers. The vocabulary books have helped support teaching students the importance of grammar and spelling when they are writing. It makes learning about vocabulary and grammar a lot easier.

My students have been set up for success this year because of your generous donation. Thank you again for supporting my class and I. We have had and will continue to have a great school year because of your wonderful impact in our classroom.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Dent

  • Supplies for a First Year Teacher's Classroom and her Students

    Funded Jan 23, 2022

My class and I want to say thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your generous donations to our classroom. When my students saw all the boxes of supplies being delivered to our classroom they were so excited. The thing they were excited about the most was that they got to pick out their own binders, folders, pencil pouch, colored pencils, and highlighters. This was to help students stay organized and keep track of assignments. It really has helped the students stay organized and keep their assignments in one place. It is so nice for the students to have organized backpack and I want to continue them to use this organizational skill when they go to high school. We will continue to use those binders and supplies next year to keep up the great habit of being organized.

The students also loved the fraction math game. When they have extra time, they are always over at the table playing the game and trying to match the fraction to the picture. It is a great game because it is fun and it is also reviewing their fraction math skills. I am also really grateful for the supplies that I was able to receive such as binders, file folders, sheet protectors, and clipboards. I have been able to organize all of my resources so that I can utilize more effectively while I am teaching my students.

The students have been working hard on improving their reading and math skills everyday. The resources that have been given will help them be able to keep learning and improving.

Thank you again for your generous donations to my classroom.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Dent

This classroom project was brought to life by Utah State Board of Education and 7 other donors.
Each student will receive a 1 inch binder, folders for each class with 2 pockets, a pencil pouch, mechanical pencils, and colored pencils. That way the students can stay organized whether they are doing school work in the building or at home. The math manipulatives which includes algebra tiles and rainbow fraction cubes will be used to help the students review what they have learned in math by doing hands on activities. All of my students are below grade level in reading and math so the items on this list will help students be able to continue practicing their reading and math skills. The calculators will be used to help the students practice their math skills on their IEP. The highlighters will be used in the classroom to help teach the students how to highlight important information while they are practicing their reading comprehension skills. The clipboards will be used so that the students can move around the classroom easier and work on their assignments in groups. The clipboards would also be sent home with students so they have something to write on if we ended up having to go online. I want students to be able to have enough supplies that if we need to move to remote learning that they have everything they need at home to be successful while they are away from school. The 5 in binders, sheet protectors, and manilla folders will be used by the teacher to keep the students classwork organized. It is important for me to collect data on each student daily and keep it organized so that I can present that data at the student's IEP meetings.
