Go With the Flow
Funded Oct 20, 2024Thank you for your support with this project. Having the proper sanitary napkin and not having to worry about surprises is key to felling your best during your cycle.
My students feel comfortable knowing that, even if they are caught by surprise, there are plenty of supplies in the classroom to keep them sanitary and free from embarrassment. Not everyone can understand the incredible impact such a small package can make.
We sincerely thank you for your generosity. Donors like you make each day in the classroom a little easier.”

Ms. Davis

Funded Feb 5, 2024Thank you for contributing to the continued education of my students. We are truly appreciative and are excited to use our new technology.
As we finalize our classroom projects and get ready to present, the wireless keyboard will be perfect as students move around the room while they are presenting their projects to the class. It will help students engage more with their audience as they do not have to be "glued" in front of their computers for the duration of their presentations.
We thank you again for your generosity!”

Magnets Move Mountains
Funded Mar 21, 2023Thank you so much for helping us fund more STEM activities. My students were so excited that some of them decided to write a lesson, make a powerpoint, and teach this activity themselves! They opened the kits and started directing each other on how to make the trains while I sat back and smiled. It truly is a wonderful thing when kids take a genuine interest in what they are learning.
After testing the maglev trains, we will do some extension activities with magnets that include the ferro fluid. They are going to be ecstatic!
Thank you again for your generosity.
We couldn't do this without you.”

Glow With Science!
Funded Aug 10, 2022My students and I are truly grateful for all of the amazing classroom tools and items that we received.
The barcode scanner is especially great because it makes checking out and returning books a breeze. We have no library at our school so this helps a lot.
The black lights and glow party theme will help give a different twist on reviewing for our assessments. Keeping things fun and engaging in the classroom is a must.
Finally, we'd like to thank you for all of the glue sticks that make it possible for us to bring our engineering projects to life!”
With gratitude,
Ms. Davis

Funded Oct 20, 2022Thank you so much for helping me fund this project. I have seen an immediate change in my students from the second I introduced these chargers to the class.
Instead of competing with phones and other digital devices for the students attention, they are all grateful to charge their phones and happily place all phones, tablets, and AirPods in the larger for the duration of the class.
Students are not paying more attention to the lesson being taught and it also discourages cheating in the classroom.
I am so happy and the students are too.
It's a win - win!”

Funded Jun 15, 2022Thank you so much for the Galileoscopes! My science club is loving the opportunity to not only build their own Galileoscopes, but to use it to look at the moon and any other celestial bodies that are present on a clear night in the city.
These are being used to spark curiosity and a love for Astronomy and Earth Science. They are also being used to spark conversation amongst the group that we can use to delve deeper in our science classes.
During a time when many people still may not want to venture to a museum or planetarium, now my students can use their Galileoscopes to view celestial bodies in their own space,”

Funded Mar 9, 2021Thank you for your donation for my project. You are very much appreciated!
Since my students were distance learning I was able to use the laptop stand to raise my laptop and fit other educational tools underneath while I taught and reached out to my students via Google Meets. I was also able to use the printer paper to print items large enough for my students to see through the computer camera and hang behind me to use as a demonstration during my lessons. Finally, I was able to use the iPad and Apple Pencil cases to protect the digital equipment while I used it in distance learning and now that we are back in the classroom it will help to protect the technology throughout the school day.”

Learning in 2020
Funded Sep 16, 2020Thank you for your generosity. The supplies that I was able to purchase will help make this year of digital learning, an easier one for both myself and my students.
I went from standing 8 hours a day to sitting 8 hours plus a day, and I can feel every part of this wooden chair I'm sitting in. The back cushion really helps to relieve some of the stress so that I can continue to teach without interruption. The lamination machine has been used and will continue to be used to preserve materials so that they can be used year after year. When we are back in the classroom, I will use it to make dry erase worksheets, which will cut down on waste.
The bluetooth keyboard and USB-c hub are used so that I can type wirelessly and connect the donated monitor to my school laptop. I have also received items that will help us complete future labs and demonstrations for thermal energy and simple machines.
My students appreciate everything that you have done for us and so do I.
Continue to be well and safe.”

Funded Sep 6, 2020COVID-19 has had me out of my classroom since March of 2020. It has been a transition learning to connect with my students using a digital platform. Your gifts have helped make that transition a smooth one.
I use the monitor as a second screen. This allows me to see my students and present and / or work on a slideshow or worksheet at the same time. This keeps our interactions smooth and fluent.
With the iPad I am able to create more interactive worksheets and science "doodles" using apps and the Apple Pencil.
I have amazed myself with some of the things that I have been able to do for my students and it is all because of your gracious donations.
I want to thank you again and express my sincere appreciation.”

Funded Mar 8, 2019First, I would like to thank you for the wonderful and gracious donation. As the track coach in a school where the budget is constantly being lowered, it is hard to get the students everything that they need. My students use their water bottles and sports bras all of the time. Many of the older girls didn't know that running doesn't have to hurt or feel uncomfortable. Now, when they are running, they are able to concentrate solely on running and not the pain or other obstacles that come with not having the proper bra.
When all of the bras came in, I held a bra party for the track girls. We spoke about breast safety and why it is important to have and use the proper sports bra. They were so happy and giddy. Some of them had questions and others were so eager, they put theirs on over their shirts to see how they fit.
All of my track students have been using their bras and water bottles at practices and track meets. They love them. They are moving away from single use plastic bottles and beginning to understand how to take care of themselves as athletes. Moving forward, the girls will definitely continue to use their bras and hopefully understand why it is important to wear and pass this information down to track students who come after them and to any women or female siblings in their families.”
