Adaptive Learning Tools for Students With Disabilities
Funded Feb 29, 2024I cannot even begin to tell you the changes I've seen in my classroom with these tools! My students love using the jumbo pencils and crayons and now asking them to draw or write has become enjoyable and not stress-inducing.
My students also love working for the kinetic sand. This is such a motivating reward for them as well as a way to relax them when we've come back from an assembly or a school event that can be over-stimulating for my kids.
We use the floor markers both for lining up to go in the hallway as well as doing math! Using these spots with the numbers has been a fun way to help students understand the value of numbers as well as how to skip count.
Thank you so much for supporting my classroom! These small changes have made a huge difference in my students learning and I couldn't have done it without you!”
With gratitude,
Ms. Davi

Funded Jan 25, 2024Our new easel has made a world of difference in our little class. We use it daily to do Fundations, Readers Workshop, and Writers Workshop. It is amazing how this tool made such a difference in my classroom management as well. Before, my easel had no legs and I was forced to sit on the floor. My students had no boundaries behind this and would crowd around me, making it very difficult to model properly how to write as well as teach.
Now when we do Fundations, my students sit at their tables and can all see me modeling. We are currently working on CVC words. My students love tapping out the sounds and copying the letters I model for them, and I love that they can see me properly and produce letters confidently. I have seen a great improvement in their letter production and I truly feel that is from being able to see how to make them properly.
This easel will be a resource I can use my whole career and I am beyond grateful for your support in my classroom. It means so much to me as this is my first year teaching to know I can make a difference in my student's lives and know I am supported by this community.
Stay safe and blessed!”
With gratitude,
Ms. Davi
