These iPads will allow my students to gain mobile access (within our school/classroom) to all areas of study to support our educational learning standards. For math – we will use programs to help build fluency in addition and subtraction and number sense. In reading, we will use software programs to build skills for letter sound identification, build fluency, and comprehension. In Social studies, science, and personal health, iPads will help students conduct research projects working with information on the internet and learn from educational videos and online story books. The purpose is to give students autonomy in self-learning, facilitated by the instructor - Me! Most importantly, giving students access to technology they cannot access at home.
