It helps soothes them and maintains a peaceful atmosphere within the classroom. The orbeez beads are a fun way for students to process their sensory needs. We look forward to the many ways we can continue to use the materials donated to our classroom. We are also excited to see continued growth within our class and with the needs of each of our students.”

• AAPI Books for Culturally Responsive Teaching

  Our students love to read each day. Diverse texts are so important for all learners. It helps them see other people and learn about their cultures. Our classroom was so grateful to receive books that tell AAPI stories. We aim to be inclusive of all cultures. The students were so excited to learn about people who are different from them. The books have been so helpful for our visual learners - the vibrant illustrations have helped them connect to literacy in multiple ways. We are so grateful for donors like you.”

  The kids were ecstatic to see the packages arrive today. They each got their own mask and loved all the sensory activities.

  We read the "Earn It" book and talked about how we can earn at home and in the classroom. It was wonderful to see the excited expressions in their face as they engaged with the materials we received today.
