In the classroom, I have the luxury of servicing students that have been diagnosed with autism, ADHD and speech and language impairments. While some of the students in my class have some type of disability, they are like any other third grader. It is very hard for a young student to sit in classroom for six hours a day; they tend to seek comfortable seating while trying to actively learn throughout the day. Wobble stools, balance balls, and bouncy bands will help many of my students be able to concentrate on the learning rather than how they feel the most comfortable. The goal is to help the students in the classroom stay engaged without interruptions of students falling out of chairs to find the most comfortable way of sitting. I love my students wholeheartedly, and I hope to support them in their learning in every way possible. Thank you so much for taking the time to look at our classroom's first project!
