Funded Dec 13, 2024Thank you so much to Carter's and OshKosh B'gosh's B'gosh Jeanius campaign for choosing my project for a Teachers Pay Teachers gift card. With this gift card I will be able to purchase resources on TPT to add to my lessons on teaching my little geniuses how to be kind and compassionate human beings. I would like my kiddos to have an understanding of others and be able to empathize. I hope they will grow up to make positive changes in the world.

Funded May 14, 2024Thank you everyone who helped to bring my project to life. These items are really helping us to "Keep it Together in Kindergarten." I love the Mesh Zipper Pouch Bags! I don't know how our math centers survived without them. These pouches are great to store centers that require manipulatives, such as connecting cubes, patter blocks & counters. I can store each individual center in a pouch so the kiddos came come and take one & work with their partner or small group. It has given them a feeling of independence & choice. The pocket charts have been such a benefit when I need to travel to a table for small group work. I love that I can use my dry erase markers on them. I am able to display the letters or words that we are working on in the chart pockets. The magnet chart is a great way utilize our magnetic letters and numbers.
The Pretex Storage Baskets are the prefect size for our Crayola Crayons. Having the packets of 8 crayons helps us to learn the primary colors quickly.
Thank you so much for choosing my project to donate to. The organization benefit really goes beyond in helping my little geniuses to stay organize.”

Funded Apr 16, 2024First, I would like to thank Carter's for choosing to fully fund my project, "My Kiddos Love to Highlight." We focus on a class poem that includes words with the (2-3)"letters of the week." During the lesson we have to be detectives & find the letters within the poem. First my kiddos choose the colors we use, then they sit so patiently waiting their turn. When they are called up they get a piece of the Lakeshore Highlighter Tape, they find the letter & state the letter name & sound. You can say this activity is the highlight of the day. This activity is so beneficial for my little geniuses. This activity not only helps them learn the letters & sounds it also is building up their confidence for public speaking. It shows them that it is okay to make a mistake, as I always say, "We are in kindergarten and we are learning. Everything is okay."
Included in this project was the Bostitch Electric Stapler, which has been an awesome addition for us all. The kiddos love it because they now can staple their writing pieces together themselves, again building that confidence & self esteem. The Light Blue folders are used as their homework folders where I keep resources charts in the Staples page projectors. Thank you for making all this possible & helping me provide the best learning environment for my little geniuses.”

Funded May 30, 2024Thank you all for your donation support for my project, "Getting Our Hands on the ABC's." My little geniuses love all of these centers o very much. They are not only having so much fun, they are learning the letters and the letter sounds.
There are a few favorites such as the Magnetic Letter Builders, this is where they actually make the letter using magnetic lines and curves. The best part about these is that the kids can lift the letter shape off the table & it stays together. They love bringing the "letters" over to their friends & ask them to identify letter & sound.
Most of the centers are tactile & that is just what we need in kindergarten. I use the Tactile Letter card with the Sand Trays. First the student traces the letter with their finger, feeling the letter shape & curves, then they write it in the sand either with their finger or the wooden pencil, all while saying the letter name & sounds.
I love the Alphabet Folder games. They help make teaching so fun, I play with kids during small group so the next day they can play with their group, they feel so independent.
Thank you so much for helping me to provide a fun & engaging learning environment for my little geniuses.”

Funded May 28, 2024Thank you so much for helping me to provide the very best for my kindergarten geniuses! This project that was for a new Brio water cooler for my classroom was so close to my heart. We all need clean fresh drinking water and with this cooler I can provide my kiddos with just that. We are in an annex building of our school. We have a bathroom and a sink in our classroom. We do not have a water fountain. We did have a water cooler that was so very old.
I am truly thankful that I am now able to have a brand new water cooler for my students. This Brio water cooler is so awesome, not only does it provide cold water on these hot days, but also provides hot water, so now on the cold winter days we can make hot chocolate.
My kiddos were so happy to have some cold water after they were outside playing at recess under the warm sun.
Thank you so much for helping me provide the very best for my students.”

Funded May 24, 2024Thank you so much for choosing my project to generously donate to. My little geniuses were so super excited when we open the box and saw all the awesome center activities that were inside. All these activities will not only work on their math skills, they will also work on fine motor skills and hand eye coordination.
They all wanted to open up and play with the Counting Cars game. This game helps them to practice counting, recognize the number and recognize and read the number word. The Squeeze, Scoop & count game will work on the hand eye coordination.
They love the Tweezer Tongs Color Sorting Kit. One little girl said, I feel like a super geniuses mathematician and a scientist all together!"
When my students are engaged in group activities they are also learning & practicing important social skills.
I truly believe that kids learn better when they are enjoying themselves and having fun. Thank you for helping me to bring laughter, love & learning into my classroom.”

Funded Apr 16, 2024I am so super excited to be able to give my little geniuses such a great gift for their completion of kindergarten celebration. We love Dr. Seuss books in my class, we love the rhyming, the funny characters and the vibrant illustrations in all the books. I read them "Oh The Places You'll Go!" on the very first day of kindergarten. I choose this book to discuss all the "places" we will go while in kindergarten. This story helps me to discuss the limitless possibilities one has. It also opens up discussions about what to do when things are not going as planned.
So I find it so fitting to give them their own copy of the book as they are off to first grade, just one of the many places they will go on their journey.
I love that I can write a personal note in their book and that they will have this treasure forever.
Thank you for bringing laughter & love into my classroom.”

Funded Oct 17, 2023Thank you so much to all the donors that helped to bring my project, "Sensory Makes Sense" to life. This project was for sensory items to. help me meet the needs of all my student in my classroom. Every child learns differently and I want to meet everyone's needs. That isn't always as easy as it may seem. Neurodivergent, autistic learners need their sensory needs meet before academic learning takes place. By having sensory materials available to them such as the Lakeshore Squish & Squeeze Sensory Pads is so beneficial when it is individual working time. My students are able to keep these pads on the table with in reach, they can calm themselves before they start their task and even if they need a break during their task.
The Lakeshore Play & Learn Sensory Tubes are a great benefit for my little one that loves to play with water. When he feels overstimulated he takes on of the tubes and you can see the calm come over him as he watches the items go back and forth.
Thank you so much for helping me help my students.”

Funded Dec 14, 2023Thank you to everyone who helped bring this project to life! My project, "Spreading Kindness the Kindergarten Way" was for supplies to make goody bags and items to hand out to other students in our school. We received pencils and bracelets that have encouraging sayings on them. For example one pencil says "Be the Amazing You" and one bracelet says "You Make The World Shine." My students and I want to spread kindness throughout our entire school building and let each and every student there know that they are loved and that they are amazing individuals.I hope this encourages all the students to go out into the world and spread kindness however they can, either through kind acts like helping a neighbor carrying their groceries up the stairs or even just smiling at someone walking down the street.
Thank you for helping me to spread kindness to all the children in my school building.”
