Prizes and Games Bring Smiles!
Funded Oct 29, 2024I hope this letter finds you well. On behalf of my students and our entire school community, I want to extend our heartfelt gratitude for your generous donation of recess games and incentives. Your support has made a significant impact on our students' experience.
The excitement in the classroom was palpable when the games were unveiled. Students rushed to explore the new games, their laughter and joy filling the air. It was truly a delight to see their faces light up. Not only do these games provide them with fun during recess, but they also foster teamwork and cooperation, essential elements for their growth and development.
Your thoughtful contribution has not gone unnoticed. It has inspired our students to engage more actively during indoor recess, and they are now more excited than ever to participate in these activities. The incentives have also motivated them academically, creating a positive atmosphere both in and out of the classroom.
Thank you once again for your generosity. Your support has made a meaningful difference in our students' lives!”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Bentley

Funded Dec 5, 2018Thank you so much for donating to our class. With your donation, my students now have access to a brand new laptop that they can use for so many things. So far students have been able to use the laptop to go on MyOn, which is an educational reading website that provides students with thousands of digital books that they can pick out based on their levels and interest. Students are able to choose books on the site to read independently or they use their headphones to have books read aloud to them. They've used the laptop to do research on alligators to enhance their knowledge of our recent science investigation on the growth of a toy alligator. They've also been able to play educational math games on it. Soon students will work on using Microsoft Word to type up their narratives that they have been working so hard on. Many of my students are not familiar with using a keyboard, but now with access to this laptop they will be able to enhance their typing and computer literacy skills. Thank you so much again for your generous donation. My students and I truly appreciate it!”

Computer Research
Funded Jun 30, 2017Thank you so much for donating these 2 computers to our classroom. Many students do not have access to any computers at home, so they are very excited to use them each day in school. Recently we have been learning about plants and animals, so students have been able to enjoy reading and listening to books about plants and animals read aloud on the computers. They have also used the computers to do research about plants and animals for their informational writing pieces. Soon we will also be using them as a math center so that students can practice their math fluency in various concepts. We really appreciate your generous donation and look forward to using these computers throughout each school day.”

Guided Reading
Funded Jun 29, 2017Thank you so much for your generous donation. My students now have an established space where they can gather for small group work. We use this space not only for small guided reading instruction, but also for writing and math small group work. My students also LOVE all of the reading center materials. They get so excited when I announce "Center Time" each day. These materials have provided students with hands on, interactive learning opportunities that not only help them learn how to read, but keep them engaged and excited to learn. We will continue to use these materials on a daily basis, and I know I will use them for years to come. We hope to collect some more reading and math center materials as the year goes on that will match their learning needs.”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Bentley
