• Healthy Snacks to Fuel Our Minds-part 2

  I can't begin to thank you enough for your generous donations to my classroom. The pretzels, waters, chips and crackers have helped keep my students stay focused on their daily lessons. My students no longer tell me their starving because we now have a mid-morning snack. These snacks fuel my students minds and they are so energized and motivated to learn. I have seen great improvement in their attention and scores.

• Scan It For A Greener Planet

  I can't begin to thank you enough for your generous donation to my classroom. The scanner and multimedia cart have been such an asset to our classroom. I am able to spend more time teaching because we can scan the worksheets and project it right onto the board. My students budgeting skills have improved because of this wonderful technology. Now they have more time to practice the budgeting skills they've learned.

  Lastly, the multimedia cart has ensured that my students are safe to walk freely around the classroom without tripping over the technology wires.

  I can't begin to thank you enough for your generous donation to my classroom. The Ipad 2 has helped my students in so many ways. We have downloaded various writing, math and budgeting applications and are using it in our everyday lessons. My visual learners have shown such great improvement and confidence since they began using the Ipad 2. My students are also more focused. The Ipad 2 has made learning so much more fun.

  I can't begin to thank you enough for your generous donations to my classroom. The document camera and memory cards have allowed me to focus more time on teaching and less time on making copies of books and worksheets to hand out to my students. It is also visually easier for my students to see, follow along, and stay focused on the lesson at hand. My students are even more motivated to participate now because they love seeing their work come alive and available for the entire class to view with the document camera.

  We were also able to use the memory cards to take pictures of our shopping lessons and pictures of each other learning so that we can share it with our generous donors at Donors Choose. My visual learners have shown such great improvement and confidence since we began using our awesome document camera.

Everyday my students are learning new survival words and are shown picture safety cards to improve safety skills at home and in the community. My students are also using the social skills workbook to learn about appropriate social skill in the school and in the community, such as sharing and how to ask for help.
