An Upgrade to Library Land!
Funded Nov 5, 2023I am writing to express our heartfelt gratitude for your generous donation through Donors Choose to Clyde C. Cox Library. Your support has made a significant impact on our library and, more importantly, on the students who utilize our resources.
Your commitment to enhancing educational opportunities is truly commendable, and we are honored to have received your support. Thanks to your donation, we have been able to acquire board games, awards, certificates, books, and other materials, which will undoubtedly enrich the learning experience for our library patrons.
The positive influence of your contribution extends far beyond the physical items received; it fosters a sense of community and emphasizes the importance of education in our library. Your belief in the power of knowledge and the transformative impact it can have on individuals' lives resonates deeply with our mission.
We are dedicated to ensuring that your donation is used effectively and efficiently, creating an environment that encourages learning, exploration, and creativity. Your generosity has helped us take a significant step towards achieving this goal, and we are grateful for the lasting impact it will have on our library users.
Once again, thank you for your generosity and commitment to education. Your belief in the potential of our library and its patrons is truly inspiring. We look forward to the continued success made possible through partnerships like yours.”

This classroom project was brought to life by Nevada Department of Education.TWES Library Restored and Renewed!
Funded Oct 14, 2021My students are so excited to see library books by popular authors in Spanish. The new non-fiction titles are especially popular as well. It is inspiring to see the smiles on the faces of students who felt marginalized because very few books were in their home language.
One event was especially powerful. A student found a popular graphic novel series book and was looking for books with his Spanish speaking friend and they found the same title in the Spanish language book section. They were happily reading the book together and laughing at the funny parts.
It has been such a wonderful addition to our library and we are grateful for your generosity, kindness, and help. Tom Williams library will continue to serve all of our population with a focus on inclusion and acceptance.”

Headphones and Pete the Cat
Funded Apr 14, 2020Thank you very much for the donation for headphones and Pete the Cat classroom decoration. Sadly, due to Covid, I was not able to use the posters in my classroom but I did display them in my home office area.
The seasonal posters were a hit with my kids and I even dressed up as Pete the Cat for a virtual Halloween party. The headphones were perfect. Working from home is difficult enough without having the proper equipment. The school system is not providing home equipment so I had to purchase my own headphones. Having these Bluetooth enabled headphones enabled me to be more comfortable and the students could hear me much better. We are not discussing going back to school in a hybrid fashion where I would be using the technology even more by teaching in person as well as being recorded for at home learning.
I sincerely appreciate the donation and hope to come back to school in person soon and utilize the decorations, headphones, and other items in the way they were intended.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Cauley
