• Books To Help Us Grow!

  Thank you so much for your generosity! My students LOVE engaging in read aloud, discussing books, and are so excited to shop in our class library each day. Reading might look like independent work at a desk, reading on the rug, or reading on the floor with a buddy. The students truly love reading. I have a diverse range of students, who are primarily English Language Learners. Every single student in my class has gone up reading levels since September- and they are so eager to continue to grow! Thank you for helping my learners love learning and connect to stories with these new and engaging books!”

• Keep Our Classroom Bright

  Thank you for donating to my project! My students LOVED a colorful and engaging classroom with bright bulletin boards, an organized library with leveled book bins, and materials to aid us with reading and writing centers. My students feel comfortable in their cozy/calm down corner. The smiles on students faces over the past month have really made the start of the school year so nice. We love our learning environment and are looking forward to the rest of the year and exploring further units of study. These materials help keep our classroom organized. It really makes a difference!”

• Getting September Ready!

  Thank you for funding this project that provided my students with materials that allowed our classroom to be "September Ready!" Both of my ELA classes are filled with amazing students who are eager to learn. These learners have various needs and these supplies allowed the students to truly shine bright at the start of the school year. Materials such as folders allowed us to stay organized and foster independence and leadership as fifth grade students. The students were so excited to have brand new resources just for them! This makes reading and writing workshop seamless, so that we can focus on individual skills, needs, and group work. Thank you- from us to you!!!”

• Starting Off the 22-23 School Year

  Funded Jul 29, 2022

  Thank you for funding this project that allowed our class to receive materials that will aid them in starting the school year off right! The students loved having ample resources to aid their engagement in reading and writing workshop! The students were so excited to have bright and beautiful bulletin boards and decor and are eager to showcase their hard work on it! Class sets of crayons and scissors allow us to get creative and allow the diverse learners to express themselves through their writing. New Book bins allow us to have an organized library full of engaging books. Next steps are to maximize student engagement and foster social emotional skills by providing students with a "cozy corner" and some flexible seating and group work options. Thank you!”
