  • Language Essentials Project

    Funded Mar 9, 2016

    Dear kindhearted donor(s),

It is with immense gratitude that I offer you the most sincere THANK YOU on behalf of my students !

I couldn't be happier for them since we will now be able to implement a much needed intervention class for phonics instruction and be ready to start class on time since thanks to your kind gesture we won't have to carry all our materials from one classroom to another with so much difficulty ... This great news has boosted my students' motivation level as they get deeper involved into the study of words and the English language. Your act of kindness has surpassed our expectations !!!

I cannot wait to start using these materials with my diverse hardworking students and together embark on another journey to success in the study of English as a New Language.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Clem

As Eli Khamarov once said in his work entitled " Lives of the Cognoscenti " , poverty is like punishment for a crime you didn't commit " . Millions of school-age students in America live in poverty , and oftentimes drop out of school , but while we may not be able to help street children on a global scale, we can work collectively and start small by supporting committed individuals, groups and organisations in the interest of all students who need a chance at education. Economically disadvantaged students can have a very rough time with succeeding in school. They need to be provided with access to computers, magazines, newspapers, and books . School may be the only place where they are exposed to print media. I am welcoming you to be sensitive to their needs and be part of the solution that can lead to their academic achievement .
