  • Special Needs Students Need Thermal Bookbinding Machines

    Funded Nov 1, 2019

Again, I want to take the time to say thank you for the though and the time and desire to want to help my students succeed. As a repeat from my other letter to the donors, no matter how many times I say thank you for your donations and no matter how many times I write these thank you notes, the message never comes across with true meaning. Even though these letters are one of the requirements of Donor's Choose, I wish the feeling and the meaning would come across as I wish it would. Words are just are that, words! Anyone can say thank you. I wished that there was some way to show and express how much having someone wanting my students to make progress and gains without ever meeting them or knowing them or myself means the world to me.

I only hope one day some of my students realize how fortunate they were to have people who want to help them just because their teachers put a project live on the internet. Thank you, Donors, all who helped support my students by giving their money to make my wishes come true and in turn my student's lives easier to grow and learn.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Bruder

  • Special needs students need two laminators

    Funded Oct 8, 2019

I want to take this opportunity to that you all for helping me get this project funded. I enjoy the opportunity to help my students grow and learn. Having a laminator handy to help my student learn office skills and skills, in general, to make their lives easier and better.

A program like Donor's Choose is a wonderful place to allow teachers the ability to request anything that they feel they need in the classroom to make it a better place for the students. I thank each and every one of the donors who took the time to read my project and feel it was worthy enough and meant enough to have funds donated by you. Thank you all, each and every one of you.”

  • Special Needs Students Need Robots for Coding

    Funded Aug 13, 2019

I always start out with disbelief that a project has been funded and supplies come my way just because I put up a project. I love that I wish and there it is, I love that people love my students as much as I do. I love that there is a site like this. I just don't know what to say to show that this means a great deal to me and my students. I don't know if anyone else knows or can experience the relief and joy and calming feeling once a project is funded and supplies are in hand.

I thank you a million times and still, it does not express how I feel. I wish there was a platform that would allow students, teachers, and donors to meet and show their gratitude for this platform.

Perhaps one day there will be a place, but until then just know that I thank you all a million times and can not express the help and joy you bring to my students and myself. Thank you”

  • Special Needs Students Need an ID Badge Maker

    Funded Aug 13, 2019

Let me start off by telling you how happy and excited I was to learn about this project being funded. I did not expect for this to happen and now all my students will be able to have ID tags made for them to wear while in the school building. This will allow us to know that in the event of anything ever happening, they will have ID on them. Many people do not realize what it means when someone cannot tell you their name, many people will never be exposed to the area of education I work in or the population of students I work with. It is difficult to understand why a 14-year-old would need a card with his name and school name on it because they can not tell you where they go to school.

This is why I was and am so excited that I can not produce the cards needed. I thank you over and over but don't know if you realize how truly grateful I am. I can never thank you enough or too many times. Thank you from me and the many students I work with who will benefit from this.”

  • Special Needs Students Need Basketball Supplies

    Funded Aug 2, 2019

My students will get so much use out of these basketballs and team vests this school year. We are unfortunate in the sense that most of our suppliers get manhandled but fortunate enough to have a program and donors who care enough to support my students and myself in securing supplies. Thank you all for helping me and the students and my school making our gym time fun and productive.

I want to thank you for always answering my wishes and needs and having a willingness to help us out without ever have seeing where your funds go. Thank you all for all you do.”

  • STEM Summer Institute in Indiana

    Funded Jun 13, 2019

This is an amazing opportunity for me to be able to go and learn more to help my students learn more. I am thankful for programs like these and organizations like these that allow for opportunities like this. I look forward to going, learning, bringing back and putting into place the concepts taught to me over the week of education I will be able to learn from.

I know my students will benefit from an understanding of computer science and this is a wonderful way to bring it to them. If I could thank each and every one of you individually, I would. Thank you all”

  • We Need a Washing Machine and Dryer

    Funded Apr 9, 2019

I was beside my self with joy that this project was funded for my students Mu students need to practice daily skills and having a washer and dryer full time will allow us to teach that skill full time. Many people do not realize how important having item you would find in a home inside the school necessary. With working with students of special needs the impact having these things makes a mass difference. Having people in the world who care and have the same desire to allow students of special need succeed means a lot.

The ability to allow our students to test their skills in a positive environment and not outside the area also helps them feel at ease. The students love the setup and the freedom it gives them within the school. I want to thank you all for your help in funding the program, your never-ending belief in my student's ability.”

  • Special Needs Students Need a Printer and Toner

    Funded Mar 22, 2019

This project surprised me when it funded as I did not expect it to be funded. I almost always expect at one time and point for the projects to get funded but not like this. Not out of the blue, it warms my heart that the project was funded and that my students will be able to do their projects like they want to and not have me tell them they can't do what they think is correct. I am always beside my self when I get that email your project has been funded. I can not explain the feeling it gives you but it is one of hope, one of joy and one of you can do anything, just ask and it's there.

I have this angel that sees everything and tries to make sure all my wishes for my students come true and all their wants and needs are seen to. They have lucked into this place in life and I don't know if they know how lucky they are. Thank you all so much”

  • Special Needs Students Need Ipad

    Funded Mar 8, 2019

Thank you for your help and interest in my students. I can not thank you for your desire to help my students succeed. I want you to know this means the world to me. I can only tell you that you are all the best and mean the world to me and my students. They get so much out of programs like this that allow for me to ask for supplies I need to make a difference and then they are there.

I thank the unknown people who helped make this a reality. I thank the people who helped donate and I thank my students who appreciate the supplies they get. Thank you all”
