Just Print It
Funded Feb 24, 2015Thank you so much for your contribution to our classroom project. Due to your donation we are able to do so many things that would not otherwise be possible. My students love seeing things in color and prior to receiving this ink we could only print in black and white. With your donation we were able to use the laser printer to print out info graphs for our Environmental Science info board, projects that students completed with online platforms that they could not print out at home and information sheets to alert them about events they could participate in.”

Computers for the Classroom
Funded Dec 29, 2014Thank you so much for your kind and generous donations. Words really can not even describe the impact the two ChromeBooks have had on my classroom. My students have now been given the means to conduct research for assignments, check their grades, and complete missing or late assignments. These ChromeBooks are not just used for my own science class but my students also utilize them during their lunch periods and even after school when they are in my room to complete work for other classes.
Again, things like this could be be possible without donors like you!”

Funded Aug 24, 2014I can 't not even begin to express thanks for you generous donation that allowed us to get the needed supplies to start the school year off with Lucy or class rabbit. While she is a lot of work to keep up it is totally worth it when you see how her presence affects the students. I have students who did not come to school consistently in the past now coming in near every day so that she can make sure she is okay during the day. Her presence docent just do the student body well but my fellow staff members as well. People come in and out all day to spend a bit of time with our little fluff ball! Thank you so much for all you have done for teacher and students.”

Issues, Ethics and Animals
Funded Apr 27, 2014Thank you so much for your donation that allowed us to get copies of the novel 1/2 Brother. I could not be more excited to teach my unit on ethics this year. Every year this is something my students struggle with and I fully believe that through using this book to teach it that this year will be different. You have given them something that will really help ethics become real as we will be exploring it using this books and issues in animal testing. There are students who are not in my classes also enjoying the book as they have come and asked for a copy to borrow and read on their own.
Thank you for helping me to make this concept real!”

Teaching with Technology
Funded Jun 7, 2014Thank you so much for your generous donation! My students were so excited to receive their Kindle PaperWhite and start their reading adventures. While the boys might not always appreciate the purple cover they have realized how beneficial it is to finding the Kindle on my desk
What's great about your generosity with this gift is that this is something a variety of students can use. While they can only use it one at a time they are however able to read books of their choosing. Again, thank you for helping me to instill a love of reading in my students!”

Connecting with Nature
Funded Dec 29, 2013Thank you so much for your donation. Through your generosity we were able to get much needed project supplies. We were so excited to have new ink that we could print out colored picture with to use on poster displays and the glue was and is awesome. Having the ability to remove something that was rubber cemented down was great for my students who were use to the permanent-ness of glue sticks. Lets not even get started on the glitter glue not only is it a teachers dream by the kids adored it. There were able to give their projects just the right amount of sparkle to draw peoples attention over to them.
Thank you again for your kind donation we appreciate it more than you know.”

Seventy-Five Ninth Graders And A Bunny
Funded Sep 10, 2013I honestly can not even put into words how much your donation has meant to our classroom. My students were beyond excited to welcome Lucy into our classroom lives. Every time a donation arrived they were beyond excited to open the box and see what was inside.
SInce Lucy has arrived I have seen their excitement for learning grow exponentially. They research rabbits on their own looking for toys they can make her so that she can play. I have students who willingly clean the cage (including the litter box) and some will even come into school on the weekends to help take care of her. Without the donations you helped to supply this would be so much more expensive to do. I honestly can't thank you enough for helping to really make our room animal friendly.”

Bringing Wildlife to Wildlife
Funded Aug 30, 2013I can not even begin to tell you how grateful we are for your generous donation. The fish tank along with our GloFish have really helped to brighten up our classroom. The resources you helped to provided have really helped in not only my teaching but also my students learning. Fish can be a very calming resource to all involved.
This resource is really aiding in teaching my students a thing or two about responsibility. It is their job to care for the fish. They take care of everything from cleaning the tank to feeding. This also gives them a sense of belonging within the classroom. This isn't just my classroom but it is a space for all of us to utilize and take care of.”
