We are in need of books on multiple topics for multiple levels. The topics range across the scientific spectrum from astronomy, herpetology, and thermodynamics to basic engineering. The students are largely self taught using resources at hand. The Science Olympiad events test students at an an advanced level, which is why we need books that can at levels from middle school to 100 level college courses. We are also in need of building materials such as magnets, batteries, plywood, motors, and large amounts of balsa wood. Engineering is a cycle of build, fail, learn from your mistakes. And build again. This inherently means we break a lot of balsa wood! All of these materials will assist in the teams acquisition of self efficacy in their pursuits.
