Everything Has a Place
Funded Jan 30, 2019Thank you so much for your investment in our children. With so many students in a such a small space, utilizing every nook of our room is necessary. The decorative, yet practical supplies you have helped to purchase will bring benefits to my students this year as well as future students in the years to come.”

Funded Jan 26, 2018Your donations to our classroom project is greatly appreciated. When we first received our IPEVO , we were able to set it up and begin using our white board like an interactive smart board. With this new technology , the students are becoming more familiar with using technology to enhance classroom presentations in mathematics, science and social studies. Students are also able to use IPEVO for participating in interactive computer games.
My students enjoy using the system so much that they often come up with ideas to enhance classroom instruction using the interactive system. One student exclaimed, "This is so exciting. I know the students next year will enjoy it too!" I am forever grateful that this classroom tool has my students so enthusiastic that they want to share it with everyone.”

Funded Jan 10, 2018Thank you so much for your contribution to our classroom project. When I opened the box in front of my students, they were so excited. Many of them immediately requested, "Can we do yoga now!" They are so excited to be able to use the individual yoga mats. "They are nice and cushiony" , "They will be perfect for Savasana (corpse pose)" , "Now we can do yoga everyday", are just a few of the comments my students express when using the mats.
The yoga mats have helped to deepen my students' connection to the practice of yoga and meditation. Inspired by your contributions, some students have inspired their parents to purchase mats at home so that they can continue their practice with their families.
Thanks to your generous donations, I know that the mats will continue to provide a space for many students to practice yoga and deepen their ability to self-regulate stress relief.”

Funded May 16, 2012This is just a short note to express the gratitude that my students and I have for your generous donations. With the tablets that were purchased, students are enjoying the independence of working on educational interactive games anywhere in the classroom. Students enjoy working on the tablets at their seats as well as in the classroom library.
As a teacher, the tablets allow me to assess students without the hassle of lugging around a heavy laptop. I can also access many online programs that provide tips and resources that aid in educating my students.
Thanks to your generosity my students and I will enjoy years of portable, light weight, advanced technology at our finger tips.”

Write On! Supporting Authors of Today and Tomorrow
Funded Feb 1, 2012Thank you for using Donors Choose to help fund projects in America's classroom. My students are using their writing journals, writing paper and drawing paper on a daily basis. They are inspired to be little authors with the supplies you have helped to purchase for our classroom. When I tell my students its time to write, I am greeted with several confident arm pumps and a barrage of celebratory exclamations. I have also noticed that the students seem to take more pride in their work when they are writing in their 'very own' journals. Through your generosity you have given me the tools to give them a great start towards becoming tomorrows authors.
Your kindness and dedication in supporting students and teachers is greatly appreciated.. ”
