Keeping the Classroom Organized
Funded Aug 27, 2021Students and I are excited to share that we really enjoy our shelves. So far, it is keeping my books and supplies organized. The other shelf will be used for the library, which due to covid, we have not set up the library center. I have bean bag seats, lap tables, and a few leveled readers organized on that shelf. Students have been keeping everything in its place and it helps our cozy center stay organized and neat. This also teaches students organizational skills and to put everything in its place after they use it. We love it so far and once again, thank you for making this happen for us. Your support allows us to continue to learn, love, and lead!”

Encourage Creativity with a Printer
Funded May 10, 2021First of all, thank you for taking your time to support and donate to our classroom. We truly appreciate your generosity. The printer will definitely come in handy when students either have to print something for an assignment or project, instead of asking the office to print for us. Super helpful! Students will all be ready to start the school year with new supplies available for them and use them throughout the school year. I am sure they will be super excited, let alone, they are already excited to just come to school after the whole virtual learning situation. Thank you again from us to you as we continue to learn, love, and lead!”

Funded Apr 15, 2021All screen guards have been used for each student's desk. As we are learning in person, this has provide a sense of safety for both the students and I as we continue to follow all safety procedures at school. They were very excited when they walk into the classroom and saw these on their desk. Students mentioned that they like this "clear cubicle" on their desk and are still able to learn and see with the screen guard on their desk, but at the same time, keeping us safe. Thank you so much for making this happen as we were reopening our school and keeping our students safe. We truly appreciate your support and generous donation.”

Furniture Fuels Creativity
Funded May 13, 2019Thank you so much for helping us reach our goal in getting the materials we need for our class. They are so in love with it and are very appreciative. The new carpet and seating bench was a great way to start off the new school year for the third graders. It really turns the classroom into a comfortable environment. Since the first day of school, my students were really excited to use the seating bench in the library so they can enjoy reading their books! The carpet has been very useful for our circle time and reader's workshop. They really enjoy it, so thank you donors for making this happen! It is really making a great impact on their love for reading and learning!”

Funded Aug 23, 2018Thank you so much for helping us reach our goal in getting the materials we need for our class. They are so in love with it and are very appreciative. They have been very excited with the Osmo Kits and the Engineering kits. The students really enjoy synergizing and working with their peers because it keeps them very engaged. It definitely builds their social skills as well.
The students were very excited about the Engineering kits. I am now able to have centers for students to use their engineering skills in building bridges, houses, or vehicles. This definitely pulls out the creativity in the students and they enjoy it. With the Next Generation Science Standards, engineering places a big role in how the students apply certain skills to design something or even solve problems.
The students have also been using the technologies for ST Math so that they can reach their classroom wildly important goal, which is completing 100% of ST Math by the end of the school year. There is not a day that goes by that the kids do not ask to go on the iPads or use the Osmo Kits. They really enjoy it and thank you donors for making this happen! It is really making a great impact on their reading, math, and social skills.”

Funded Sep 7, 2017Technology plays a big role in the 21st century and is a big influential to many children. As we currently live in the 21st century, this influence is quickly extending into their education and becoming an integral part of their curriculum. I have been able to incorporate the use of iPads as an engaging way for students learn.
The students have been using the iPads for ST Math, Raz-Kids, Starfall, and the Osmo Kits. I have to say that they are always very excited to use the iPads for ST Math and the Osmo Kits. Even thought we only have three Osmo kits, I have seen the students building social skills and synergizing to use the Osmo. The fact that they can use technology allows for more engagement in the classroom. As a leadership school, one of our school-wide and classroom wildly important goals is for every student to reach 100% on ST Math by the end of the school year.
I have assigned these ST Math, Raz-Kids, and Osmo as a "May Do" and my students are always determined to finish their work. Eventually, I would like to get enough technology so that it is one-to-one. Ever since I've introduced these technological programs, the students are always so thrilled to use it, especially with ST Math so they can reach their goal. These programs are definitely helping students with their reading, phonics, and math skills. The class really appreciates what you have done to impact their success in school.”

21st Century Learners with Technology
Funded Aug 26, 2016Dear Donors,
Thank you families and friends for your support. My students and I are grateful for your kind donations that fulfilled our project.
As I have stated in my proposal, the new generation of students is quickly realizing that technology is becoming an influential part of their lives. As we currently live in the 21st century, this influence is quickly extending into their education and becoming an integral part of their curriculum. An iPad would allow for the introduction of a technologically based program known as spatial-temporal Math (ST Math) as part of their curriculum.
Ever since we got an additional iPad, I was able to form a technology center for ST Math. Students are very familiar with using the iPads compared to a desktop. They are always very excited to use the iPad for ST Math. The fact that they can use technology allows for more engagement in the classroom. As a leadership school, one of our school-wide and classroom wildly important goals is for every student to reach 100% by the end of the school year.
Almost all of the students are thrilled to play ST Math whenever they can. I have assigned it as a "May Do" and my students are always determined to finish their work so they can play ST Math on the desktop or iPads. Students have been playing ST Math ever since I have introduced it to them, whether it is at home or at school.”
