  • Supplies Needed for All

    Funded Aug 15, 2024

The students are always excited to do art and use different art supplies. They enjoy drawing and coloring with color pencils, markers, and crayons. This have given them the opportunity to be creative and use their imagination. The students were most excited about the acrylic paint and they got to paint their pumpkins with it.

The headphones have been a great tool for them to use with their computer especially when they are listening to read alouds. Students are focus and this doesn't create distraction for others.

Thank you so much for your support in our education.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Bou

  • Better to See, Better to Learn...All with a Document Camera!

    Funded Aug 14, 2024

This technology has been very beneficial in helping my students learn. With the new document camera, students are able to see what I am showing them under the camera and be engaged in their learning. The colors and clarity definitely make a difference compared to the old one we had. The students are very excited to learn every day and loves to use it to showcase their work to their classmates. This technology has made learning convenient and easier in the classroom. I love the engagement and growth they are learning in the class. Thank you for your support in our education.”

  • PE Equipments for Better Movements

    Funded May 17, 2024

These equipments have been so beneficial and useful for my students. I am glad we have these equipments to use for physical education as that is important for students to get up and move around. The students always feel so motivated and excited when I take out the equipments. It really helps in building that foundation and motor skills for them at this age. There are other equipments we have not gotten to, but we are beyond excited to use it throughout the year. We are grateful for donors like you to help support us in our learning and growth.”

  • Updated Technology: A New Projector

    Funded Aug 3, 2023

It's been so great to have a brand new, crisp in color, projector! The students and I can see clearly. I don't have students struggling and complaining that they can't see from afar. It has helped in so many ways for the students learning. Anything on the computer to document camera gets projected for students' visual. The students like making shadows in front of these projector, but I will have to save that for a shadow lesson.

It has been the foundation to our learning and it is a must have, so thank you for supporting our education and giving this opportunity to upgrade our technology so our students' can learn better.”

  • Calming Area

    Funded Mar 24, 2023

Thank you so much for donating and contributing to this project. Materials used for this calming area was very beneficial for students' emotions. Students were able to come into this area when needed to calm themselves down. We are so thankful for a community like you to support our education and learning.

The students were very excited and thrilled to see all the materials when they arrived. They were excited to use the bean bags and the calming tools. They loved the fuzzy rug and always asked to use it. It definitely became a sensory thing, but it made them feel cozy and at-home when they used it.

I am going to continue using this calming corner as it is needed for students ages 5-7. As we learn more strategies and ways to cope with our emotions, students will be able to be familiar with the calming corner and what it can or cannot be used for. Thank you again for allowing our students to continue to learn, love, and lead.”

  • Hands-On Makes the Learning Fun

    Funded Sep 26, 2022

The students are very grateful for these learning resources. They were very excited to see the materials and was eager to use them in the classroom. They have used it for centers, intervention, and indoor recess time. This has allowed them to learn social skills and sharing with one another. As a leader in me school, students learn to synergize and seek first to understand then to be understood. Having these resources in centers have allowed them to use these habits to become leaders. Thank you for allowing them to continue to learn, love, and lead.”

Whiteboards will definitely be useful and will replace the old ones when we start the new school year. Students love using whiteboards and it gets the whole class to be engage. Students were and will be very excited for new items thanks to you! The Little Spot books were a great addition to our collection and I used them all the time for social emotional learning. • Charging Station

    Funded Aug 31, 2021

First of all, thank you for helping us complete this big project! As we continue moving on, technology has been incorporated into our students' learning since the pandemic and virtual learning started. As we enter the 21st century, technology is used more often and training these little ones is not easy. Expecting them to carry these in there backpacks is not easy either. Therefore, with this charging cart, we were very grateful and excited to get one of these in the classroom for students to leave their laptops at school or charge it if they need to. It saves me instructional time on finding a plug in the classroom to help students charge their laptop. With this charging cart, students are well aware of where and how they can charge their laptop. So thank you again for letting us continue to learn, love, and lead!”

  • Cozy Library Center

    Funded Aug 22, 2021

Students were thrilled when they saw a big box arrived and was curious to see what they were. When they saw that they were bean bag cushions, they were super excited to use it. They use it all the time in small groups during our computer station. They learned how to take turns and share the cushion. I think this is helpful for little ones who have short attention span and expect them to sit on hard floors for 10-15 minutes. We are truly grateful for donors like you to support our classroom and allowing us to continue to learn, love, and lead.”

The new generation of students is quickly realizing that technology is becoming an influential part of their lives. This influence is quickly extending into their education and becoming an integral part of their curriculum. An iPad would allow for the introduction of a technologically based program known as spatial-temporal Math (ST Math) as part of their curriculum. Based on the latest research, ST Math is a visually innovative game instructional software to “boost math comprehension and proficiently through visual learning” through the use of kinesthetic learning to tap into a student’s short term memory and create consolidation and application of the materials. My goal is to create a fun and interactive learning environment while having the students build familiarity with technology. Having the iPad with the ST Math would create a foundation of the student’s academic future and facilitation of success in future technologically-based standardized testing such as Smarter Balance.
