It has helped increase engagement and improved my students receptive and expressive language skills. The biggest hit is "Waddle." The students cannot get enough of this book! They are so amazed by the moving animals. I am so grateful that you helped play a part in bringing such a positive experience to my students. The stickers has also been such a great reinforcement. They work hard and look forward to a cool sticker at the end of the session. Thank you again!”

Soar In Speech Therapy
Funded Jun 2, 2023First, I would like to thank you again for your generous donation! My students were extremely excited to use these amazing resources. They now have a variety of materials to chose from to address their goals in therapy. The rug has been the most impactful. It acts as a learning resource that can be used in lessons as well as a comfortable place for students to lounge while learning. The interactive games have also added so much fun and excitement to our speech therapy sessions. All the students look forward to coming to therapy. I am forever grateful for your support!”

Funded Jan 14, 2023First, I would like to thank you again for your generous donation! My students lit up with excitement when they saw the new materials. They were extremely eager to open up all the boxes and explore.
My students are using these resources to reenforce their literacy lessons. Some students are learning the letters and the corresponding sounds. They apply this knowledge by matching pictures to the initial sounds. The students get to practice this skill by using one of their new favorite activities-Alphabet Rockets. Alphabet Rocket is a hands-on rocket building activity. It includes double-sided rocket with three pieces that show the uppercase and lowercase letter, plus four pictures that represent the letter sound. The students match up the pieces which help to practice letter and sound recognition. Students also get to increase vocabulary knowledge through exposure to new pictures from this activity. My students' love of reading has increased significantly with these new resources. Thank you once again for supporting my students!”

Effective Communication For Academic Success!
Funded Sep 22, 2019My students have benefited from the strategies that I have learned from the resource books that you helped me purchase. I have been able to use evidence based strategies to address speech and language challenges in my students. These strategies have helped students improve executive function, phonological awareness, fluency and intelligibility.
Also, the educational games that have been incorporated into my sessions, have made my students more excited to attend speech and language sessions. They are more motivated and engaged. They are more willing to express themselves in various academic settings.
The bulletin board paper has allowed me to share valuable information with collgues. The information displayed on the bulletin board acts a resource for teachers, related service providers and administrators. This helps us work together to improve the speech and language skills of students in all academic settings. Additionally, it helps members of the academic team understand the value of effective communication and the positive impact that it can have on student learning.
Thanks again for your support. I look forward to partnering with you on future projects.”
