About 60% of families at my school are low-income families. We also have a large population of English language learners. My fourth graders are true Rock Stars in the classroom. I place a strong emphasis on building connections and developing strong relationships. This helps create an environment where students feel safe to take risks, are supported in their learning, and know they belong to our class family. My students are inquisitive and excited about learning. My goal is to provide challenging and inspiring experiences through collaboration and experimentation.
