• Ignite Student Learning with Kindle Fire

  As we are not a 1-to-1 school with technology, providing more access to technology for my students has been so beneficial for their learning. It has helped me to better streamline incorporating personalized learning in my classroom and I have noticed many student gains.

  We have now been able to use Prodigy, Reflex, and Get Epic Books daily in our small groups thanks to the funding of this project. Students have been so happy to have daily technology, as opposed to the 2 and a half days we normally are allotted with our computer cart.

• Student Programmers: Robotics in the Classroom

  I don't think I have ever seen my class more mystified than when I unveiled our new Ozobots! They thought it was so cool that something so small could read all of the different codes!

  We have been busy exploring all of the coding opportunities available to us with our new Ozobots! It has been so fun watching my students ask questions, test a hypothesis, and see if the expected outcome occurs or not! I've really noticed an increase in my students' problem-solving skills and am very excited to do even MORE with the Ozobots next school year, as well.

  I have a very inquisitive class that loves to ask every question imaginable. These Ozobots made them aware of even more questions they could ask and more ways to think about the world.”
