Students are constantly reading, writing, and working together in depth throughout class time. I would love to afford students the opportunity to feel comfortable and at home while they do so. Beanbag seating as well as inflatable ball seating can service a variety of students and student needs. This level of flexibility allows the student that can't sit still in a chair to move around and stretch out, or the student with limited eyesight the ability to sit closer to the board in comfort. It allows for a group to sit in the hallway to read their book out loud without disrupting the class, or for the student with anxiety to read silently by the window. The beanbags would provide an opportunity for students to work individually or as a group.
