My students will learn about several important people throughout history who have shaped our world, while also understanding how biographies are written. Students will present a report based on the book they have read and create their own biography. This project will ensure that a piece of history is put into the hands of each individual student. The "Who Was" books will support several components of our learning, including reading, writing, and presentation skills. Students will be able to read at their own pace and thoroughly understand how their person left an impact on the world that we live in today.
