The library bench will give my students a comfortable place for them to curl up with a good book. It is so important for them to be able to foster their own love of reading. Giving them a choice of books and a fun place to read will encourage them to do so. They can read to themselves or even enjoy reading with a friend. The flexible seating will allow students to find the learning style that is most effective for them. Not all students learn most effectively in a chair. Students at this age need to be able to get their wiggles out. It teaches students how to listen to their own body and what they need. Teaching them how to figure out how they learn best will help them throughout their learning career. It teaches them to be more responsible and an active partner in their own learning.
