Who's the Tactile Manipulative in the Window
Funded Feb 16, 2023I want to thank you all for helping my class! My kids are going to be so happy about having these materials. The items are going to help each of my kids with their goals. I can’t wait to see their eyes get big when the boxes start coming in.”

Adaptive Books Here We Come!
Funded Oct 15, 2021This donation of supplies, books, and book shelves have given my students access to more.
My students really like the bookshelf. They like to get books from around the room and place them into the shelves. Majority of my sensory and board books are out for the students to have access too.
All my students have loved the new materials. We are a very hands on learning classroom and my students love it. We were able to make adaptive books and work folders with the laminating sheets as well as the velcro. Thank you so much for all these items!”

SPED Needs Supplies
Funded Jul 31, 2018Thank you all for making this donation possible! With all these supplies my students are able to many creative projects. You never know how such a little thing such as construction paper can make a difference.
These supplies are much needed as SPED teachers struggle to get the same supplies as our peers. Because of all of you it is possible.
All my new kindergarten students love working with all the colors and new materials I was able to create. I have made so many hands on materials with the lamination sheets and Velcro that there is always something new to do!”

Everyone Needs Something!
Funded Mar 27, 2018My students are loving these books. It is really hard to find great books that they have not already read on their reading levels. The books we received are doing just that. They are challenging enough that the students want to keep reading higher and higher levels.
The students love to read the social emotional books during adaptive behavior time. These books target skills that they are still working on. Their favorite so far is the books about sharing. We have many discussions about how to share nicely in class and what that looks like.
All my students enjoy the new books but it is amazing when they realize that with a little work and effort that they can read fluently. When they have mastered the book they bring it home and read it to their families to show them their achievements! Thank you for everything you did to support our classroom and helping create a heathy reading environment.”

This classroom project was brought to life by Ripple and one other donor.Full STEAM Ahead!
Funded Jun 8, 2018My students walked into my room and were so excited to see all the boxes. Each of them were in charge of opening one and telling each other about what was inside. The joy and the excitement on each of their faces were amazing.
The students love using each of the items but their favorite at the moment are the Knex. They use them right now to learn how to ask each other or myself for an item. We are using play for positive learning in the classroom. Each of the student has their favorite animal they have made. Either by the diagrams or creativity they debate their characteristics with either.
The next avenue we are going to go down is to create a story with their drawings. We are filling the classrooms with giggles lesson by lesson with your support. Thank you again so much for helping our little classroom grow.”

Everyone Has Wiggles!
Funded Feb 14, 2018I have to thank all of you so much for giving my students the ability to refocus on their work. I have seen my students focus even more when they are working. It is amazing how the students are able to work longer when they are able to move! The wiggle stools have shown to help each student focus on the individual task at hand instead of the constant need to move.
The iPad helps the student work individually on their own levels. I had gotten an intervention for the iPads. My students are now able to work side by side at their own pace and levels. This helps the students build confidence! They are proud of each others work as well. When they are working together on the iPads they praise one another on their achievements.
I think each item has promoted a positive learning environment for each student. It has also gotten our students away from desks and chairs to alternative seating and places for the students to learn that are outside the box. These items have updated my classroom into the classroom of the future. I no longer have to ask a student to stay in their seat. The students are constantly moving and the stools and sensory items are reinforcing that positive movement. The iPad is increasing their ability to focus on interventions because it is fun!
Thank you all so much again.”
