  • Empowering Student Creativeness With Cricut!

    For the past couple of months I have been busy learning and practicing how to make cut out letters, logos, shirt designs, and much more.

    The Cricut Maker has allowed me to make my students feel more ownership of their classroom and materials. This amazing equipment has allowed me to create and personalized our classroom as well as their supply bags and pencil pouches. Soon my students will be making their own small group projects.

  • Resources for Distance Teaching

    I would like to thank you for helping my class and I succeed this challenging year.

    We began the year on-line and transitioned to physical mid-October.

    My student and I have been working physically in school with lots of technology thanks to you.

    My teacher computer and tablet has provided not only the ability to Zoom meet with parents, staff, and other stake holders outside of my classroom but has also enabled engagement and instruction to my student who don't have a working device. Students have been more engaged in class activities as well as in their learning using the devices in class.”

As a result of this pandemic my students and I have been thrown into a new way a learning. Unfortunately, I wasn't as prepared as I would of like to be. Therefore I am asking for your help in helping me access these resources to better teach my students. A new computer will help me plan and deliver instructions more effectively and the document camera will allow me to interact and deliver my lessons in a more efficient and engaging way. These two materials are critical to help me deliver lessons during Distance Learning and when face-to-face. My current laptop is more than 7 years old and not reliable. Many times during a Zoom meeting, it has crashed on me and it has made lesson planning very challenging.
