  • Essentially Organized Learning

    Funded Sep 20, 2024

Your help this school year has helped me create an organized rolling cart so that my students can access their learning binder in a labeled drawer. Having this easy system for them to follow has helped to create a morning and afternoon routine to working on different subject worksheets, coloring pages for built in brain breaks, and daily calendar activities. Each binder is labeled for their use and contains zipper bags which hold their pencil, crayons, dry erase marker and eraser for easy access to their learning tools. Your commitment to supporting our project and classroom needs is very much appreciated.”

  • Lights on for STEM

    Funded May 17, 2024

I'm ecstatic and blessed beyond belief! Thank you for your generous donations and for making this project come to life. My students and I will be sure to make great use of these resources especially for accommodating learning needs for my students that need extra help. We intended to make use of the items during the last weeks of school, however, the items did not arrive. We ended our school year with anticipation for use of the light table which will greatly help to accommodate my students' learning needs with tracing letters to practice our writing. Thank you to the moon and back and look forward to continue receiving your support to our projects.”

  • Science and Sensory Art Activities

    Funded May 8, 2024

I'm very thankful to have received this surprise funding rocket on the last days of Teacher Appreciation Week! Your generosity and continued support means the world to me because you made fun projects possible for my students. This project was, by far, one of my favorites because I was able to see my student's excitement to work of different activities, mediums, and tools the last week of school and be able to express themselves with arts and crafts, painting, and sensory foam. Their joy and excitement to "open" and use the paint markers, acrylic paint cups, and pipe cleaners to express themselves made me very happy. I saw my students flourish the last week since their creative spark helped them show us their uniqueness. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts and feel very fortunate to continue receiving your support and generous donations.”

  • My Very Own Enrichment Bag

    Funded May 2, 2024

I'm very thankful to our generous supporters because their donations helped us get the project funded and with the help of matching funds. We are very fortunate to continue having your support. Your donations helped me send my students home on their last day of school with a canvas tote that they carefully decorated, with 3 starter reading book stories for them to read over the summer break along with a summer workbook to help them continue practicing their core subject skills. I feel very blessed to be able to have your support because being able to help reduce the effects of the summer slide in my students through these items makes me very happy. They all were very excited to begin using their manipulatives as well - 10-frame pop it, dice, reading guided strips, fidget spinner wrist bands, mini colored pencils, and colorful blank books to jot their ideas on. The bonus, in my opinion, was being able to send them home with several healthy edible snacks and juice boxes. Thank you for your continued support to our projects!”

  • Flexible Seating Options For Our Peace Area

    Funded May 9, 2024

Thank you so much for your generous donations to our project! The items came in just in time before we ended the school year and my students loved having a comfy, cozier designated space for our peace area. The lamp created a softer lighting option and having the folding lap desk to use on the carpet was an added bonus for my students. Having these items available to my students year-round will definitely help to keep our peace area space clearly defined so any of our students can benefit from having a quiet, relaxing break if they become overwhelmed by the daily activities or if they choose to have a brain break moment to center their thinking and focus their breathing. Thank you again for making this project for us possible so that my students can use the peace area for self-regulation practices.”

  • Everyday is Earth Day!

    Funded Apr 21, 2024

I am very grateful to have had the Everyday is Earth Day! project funded by your continued generosity. My students have truly grown with making their own birdhouses, and working on planting seeds to attract butterflies and other pollinators. We have had such a great time discussing the importance of doing our part to help the environment and the read aloud books have helped to engage their thinking or the world. They have continued to enjoy expressing their creativity and their time to paint the birdhouses helped to calm them in the classroom. We are very thankful to continue receiving your support to help us learn beyond the textbooks.”

  • Cooperative Fun and Indoor Recess

    Funded Jan 17, 2024

My students and I are very grateful to receive your generous donations to our Cooperative Fun and Indoor Recess project. They have been able to engage in cooperative play during the inclement weather of rain or excessive heat in our area. We have enjoyed our 30-minute recess time in the classroom with jump ropes, spoon/egg races, hopscotch rings, marble run and doll playhouse. Having these indoor games builds community and adds a competitive spirit to keep trying their best and keep accurate score keeping so their math skills have improved. We thank you so much for supporting our project and helping to fund cooperative games for us.”

  • Creative Art Sparks

    Funded Jan 17, 2024

The Spring semester has been a whirlwind for me. Trying to catch up on finishing projects and closing out this school year without any problems has kept me very busy after getting the flu and being out for a full week. Needless to say, my students have benefitted from your donations to our Creative Art Sparks project through independent learning, indoor recess during inclement weather, and during times where a quick break was needed so they could get back to learning. Your generosity and commitment to their continued learning has helped them to express themselves creatively and they ask to go create something, whether its a thank you card to their friend or an I love you note to their parent almost daily. I am so thankful to be able to provide this option to them and they appreciate having supplies to work with.”

  • Warm Winter Beanies and Gloves

    Funded Dec 9, 2023

My students were thrilled and over the moon to have received the holiday DIY ornaments and books to read. As part of the project, they were able to enjoy their own hot chocolate drink and shortbread cookies during our activity to make their ornaments and listened to the holiday read aloud books too. They were very thankful to receive their own personal beanie and warm gloves! These arrived to our school at precisely the right time to be able to wear home on our last day of school to use during the holiday break. Thank you for helping me make this holiday season one for them to fondly remember. We are truly thankful for having donors like you to help me enrich their classroom experience and with their learning activities.”

  • Financial Literacy Learning in 1st Grade

    Funded Sep 7, 2023

After an unforeseen shipping delay from the publisher, we have now received 100% of our items for our Financial Literacy project. I am very thankful that the books came in at a perfect time when I can tie in learning about needs, wants, expenses, earnings, and savings at this time of the year when children are ramping up their efforts to ask for holiday gifts. We are very thankful to incorporate dramatic play into our learning as well because they have been using the cash register, money manipulatives, and dramatic play toys. Having these tools for our Financial Literacy learning has become an added exploration during indoor recess when my students want to play games like going grocery shopping and working as the cashier.

We are truly blessed to have received these resources because they have helped me provide my students opportunities for learning and engaging in fun play. My project was brought to life due to your generous donations and matching funds from organizations that care about education. I hope to continue to receive your consideration for support and donations on future projects. Thank you!”
